‘Riverdale’ Season 4, December 18, 2019 Episode 10 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey,”Riverdale” fans. It’s that time of the year again where we have to let you know that your favorite show is currently on a break. Yes indeedy. Riverdale is currently on a pretty long break, which means The CW will not be airing the next, new episode 10 tonight, December 18, 2019.

We were able to track down the official airdate for episode 10. It’s currently scheduled to air on Wednesday night, January 22, 2020 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot on The CW of course. So, be sure to make note of that very important date on your TV show calendars.

What will The CW air in Riverdale’s place tonight? According to the TV Guide listings, The CW is going to air a Christmas special called, “GRANDMA GOT RUN OVER BY A REINDEER.”

The CW’s official description for it reads like this, “Elmo Shropshire narrates this animated interpretation of the offbeat Yule tune, as Jake Spankenheimer (Alex Doduk) tries to find his grandma and save her Christmas shop.

It’s in danger of being sold by his greedy cousin, Mel (Michele Lee). Grandma: Sue Blu. Santa Claus: Jim Staahl.”

Then next Wednesday night, December 25, 2019, The CW is going to air another one of those Iheartradio specials called, “IHEARTRADIO JINGLE BALL 2019.”

The CW’s official description for it reads like this, “This 90-minute holiday music event celebrates the season with performances by the year’s biggest recording artists and will feature star-studded performances from many of today’s hottest musical stars.”

On Wednesday night, January 1, 2020, The CW will air a repeat episode of Riverdale. It’s the first episode of this current season 1 titled, “Chapter Fifty-Eight: In Memoriam.”

The CW’s official description for it reads like this, “As the residence of Riverdale prepare for its upcoming Independence Day parade, Archie (KJ Apa) receives a phone call that will change the rest of his life forever.”

Beyond those three dates, The CW will most likely air more repeat episodes of Riverdale until it’s time for the new ones to start airing on January 22, 2020.

If that schedule sounds good to you, you might still want to tune into the CW. However, if it doesn’t, you will most certainly want to find some other things to do or watch for the next month and a half or so.

With all of that said, we do have a little bit of extra information for episode 10. The CW served up a new preview clip and official title for episode 10. These items do contain a few spoiler teasers. So, you will probably want to exit this article if you don’t like spoilers.

If you don’t mind seeing spoilers, please stick around. We’d love to have you. Now that our spoiler warning is out of the way, let’s take a look at this new episode 10 title and preview clip.

Episode 10 is called, “Chapter Sixty-Seven: Varsity Blues.’ The new preview clip for episode 10 features Veronica approaching a couple of guys in a blonde wig saying, “Hi, fellas.”

Then one of the guys tells her to go back to his room, undress and wait for him. After that, the clip shows a series of different scenes. They look pretty intense too.

In one of the scenes, somebody is getting the crap knocked out of them. Veronica is seen talking about a wicked idea. There’s a glimpse of Cheryl in one of the scenes and more. You guys can view the new preview clip for episode 10 over on Youtube by Clicking Here.

Again, The CW confirmed that the new episode 10 is scheduled to air on Wednesday night, January 22, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
