‘Magnum PI’ Season 2, December 20, 2019 Episode 12 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “Magnum P.I.” fans. It is with great regret that we must inform you guys that your favorite detective drama “Magnum P.I.” is officially on a very short winter break. That means CBS will not be airing the next, new episode 12 tonight,December 20, 2019.

No, instead you guys can expect to see the new episode 12 hit the airwaves on Friday night,January 3, 2020 in its usual 8 pm central standard time slot on CBS of course. So, it is of great importance that you mark that date down on your TV show schedules.

What will CBS air instead of the new Magnum PI episode 12 tonight. According to the TV guide listings, CBS is airing a repeat episode of Magnum PI. It’s the 13th episode of season 1 labeled,”Day of the Viper.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Magnum and Higgins are shocked when one of her former MI6 teammates shows up with a fresh gunshot wound and news that “the Viper,” the assassin who killed Higgins’ true love, has surfaced on Oahu.

Also, while Magnum’s busy helping Higgins track down the Viper, he asks Rick to take over a case, a task that Rick relishes until it goes sideways.”

Then next Friday night, December 27, 2019, CBS will air another Magnum PI repeat episode. It’s the 12th episode of season 1 titled, “Winner Takes All.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Magnum has an emotional connection to a case when he and every other private investigator and bounty hunter on Oahu are tasked to track down a man accused of murder.”

If any of you guys want to watch those repeats just keep tuning into CBS during the break. If not, you’ll definitely want to schedule something else for the next couple of weeks, but be back for January 3, 2020.

We were able to get a lot of new info for the new episode 12 of Magnum PI. CBS served up a new press release, preview photos and a preview clip for it. These items do contain spoiler teasers. So, if you don’t like spoilers, it’s highly advised that you exit this article right now.

If you don’t mind reading spoilers.Or heck, maybe you even like them. If that’s you, we definitely want you to stay for this.

Now that our spoiler warning is out of the way, let’s dive into this giant episode 12 preview material.

To start, the official title for episode 12 is called, “Desperate Measures.” It sounds like episode 12 will feature some really interesting, high action, intense and dramatic scenes.

The new episode 12 will be a continuation crossover special with Hawaii Five-0, which we’ll talk about later.

In the new episode 12, Junior from the Hawaii Five-0 squad is going to get kidnapped for leverage in an effort to recover a stolen list of undercover CIA agents.

In light of this, the CIA will round up most of the Five-0 crew to keep them from interfering. So, Tani and Quinn ,also of Five-0, will reach out to Magnum and Higgins for help out on this intense case.

CBS’ official description for episode 12 reads like this, “When Junior (Beulah Koale) is kidnapped as leverage to retrieve the stolen list of undercover CIA agents, and most of Five-0 is rounded up by the CIA to prevent them from interfering, Tani (Meaghan Rath) and Quinn (Katrina Law) ask Magnum and Higgins for their help.”

As we mentioned earlier, this Magnum PI episode 12 is a continuation of Hawaii Five-0’s episode 12, which will air right before Magnum PI.

The official CBS description for it reads like this, “When a list of undercover CIA agents is stolen, Steve and Five-0 enlist the help of Magnum (Jay Hernandez), Higgins (Perdita Weeks), Rick (Zachary Knighton) and TC (Stephen Hill) to get it back and protect national security. Also, Higgins gives Tani some personal advice.”

The new preview photos for episode 12 feature Magnum, Juliette, Mcgarrett and Quinn in a scene together. They all look very serious in it.

McGarrett, Magnum, Rick and TC are spotted in a scene together. They all appear to be having a great time with smiles on their faces while driving in a vehicle. You guys can view all of the preview photos for episode 12 over on Spoiler TV’s site by Clciking Here.

The new preview clip for episode 12 is pretty short. It features McGarret driving Magnum’s car with Magnum in it. McGarret asks Magnum, “Is there a problem?” Magnum says, “Ah, you mean other than the fact that I’m a passenger in my own car? Magnum PI and Hawaii Five-0 episode 12 will feature a lot of guest stars. They are: AlexO’Loughlin as character (Steve McGarrett), Scott Caan as character (Danny “Danno” Williams), Ian Anthony Dale as character (Adam Noshimuri), Meaghan Rath as character (Tani Rey), Jorge Garcia as character (Jerry Ortega), Beulah Koale as character (Junior Reigns), Chi McBride as character (Captain Lou Grover).

Guest stars continued: Katrina Law as character (Quinn Liu), Taylor Wily as character (Kamekona), Dennis Chun as character (Sgt. Duke Lukela) Kimee Balmilero as character (Dr. Noelani Cunha), Jason Lee Hoy as character (Baldy), Melissa Tang as character (Erin), Jo Sung as character (Zhou), Chad X Lerma as character (Officer Hollis), Terrence Arashi Elliott as character (CIA Agent), Lloyd Barachina as character (Thug #1), Melissa Tang as character (Erin Hong), Amy Tsang as character (Loi Chau) and Ken Kirbyas character (Eli Sung).

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 12 are: Jay Hernandez as character (Thomas Magnum), Perdita Weeks as character (Juliet Higgins), Zachary Knighton as character (Orville “Rick” Wright), Stephen Hill as character (Theodore “TC” Calvin), Tim Kang as character (Det. Gordon Katsumoto) and Amy Hill as character (Kumu).

Episode 12 was written by Peter M. Lenkov and Eric Guggenheim, and it was directed by Maja Vrvillo.

Again, CBS confirmed that this big episode 12 crossover event is scheduled to air on Friday night, January 3, 2020, starting at approximately 7 pm central standard time with the Hawaii Five-0 episode and ending with the Magnum PI episode.
