‘Chicago Med’ Season 5, January 29, 2020 Episode 13 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “Chicago Med” fans. If you tuned in to NBC earlier tonight, trying to find the next, new episode 13 of Chicago Med’s current 5th season, we imagine you were quite disappointed because NBC didn’t air it tonight. Yeah, for some reason, they just didn’t do it.

What we can tell you is that the new episode 13 is officially scheduled to air next Wednesday night, February 5, 2020 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot on NBC of course. So, be sure to commit that very important date to memory, or just write it down on something and tape it to your TV remote or something.

So, what did NBC air instead of your favorite Chicago Med TV show tonight? According to the TV guide listings, NBC actually aired a repeat episode of Chicago Med. It was the 2nd episode of this current season 5, which is titled, “We’re Lost in the Dark.”

NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “Dr. Choi and Dr. Charles face difficult decisions as a dying man tries to preserve his future life with a controversial scientific method.

Dr. Marcel and April clash over how to handle a mysterious patient and Will questions Natalie’s capabilities. Sharon assigns a nurse to shadow Maggie, much to her dismay.”

With all that said, the lovely NBC folks were nice enough to deliver some promotional materials for the next,new episode 13 of Chicago Med. They put out a press release, new preview photos and a preview clip.

We must warn you that these items do contain spoiler teasers. So, if you don’t want to see any spoilers, it is highly suggested that you abandon this article right this second.

On the other hand, if you like reading spoilers, or don’t mind seeing them, we definitely invite you to just stay put and keep reading.

Now that our spoiler warning is taken care of, let’s go over this new episode 13 press release. To start, the new episode 13 is officially named/titled, “PAIN IS FOR THE LIVING.”

It sounds like the new episode 13 will feature some very dramatic, intense and interesting scenes.

In the new episode 13, two brothers are going to fall into critical condition! In light of this very terrible turn of events, the parents of these two boys will rush them to the hospital.

During this time, Dr. Choi, April and Dr. Charles will tend to the brothers and try to figure just what in the hell happened to them.

Elsewhere, a new mother is going to enter the E.D. at some point. For some reason, this new mother will cause Dr. Manning to become very suspicious!

Lastly, Dr. Halstad will be putting in a lot of work hours at the safe injection site, and this will certainly cause problems because as it will take a toll on Halstead’s work.

NBC’s official description for episode 13 reads like this, “Two brothers in critical condition are rushed into the hospital by their parents, leaving Dr. Choi, April and Dr. Charles to tend to their care and left to piece together what actually transpired.

Dr. Manning becomes suspicious of a new mother entering the E.D. Dr. Halstead’s tireless activities at the safe injection site start to take a toll on his work.”

The new episode 13 preview photos feature April and Ethan in a scene. They appear to be having a good conversation in it. They’re both smiling and what not. Maggie appears to be having a very serious conversation in her photo/scene.

Natalie is seen in a few of the pics as well. Her scenes look pretty serious too, but not crazy serious.

Again, NBC confirmed that the next,new episode 13 for Chicago Med’s current season 5 is scheduled to air next Wednesday night, February 5, 2020 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
