Hey, “The Good Doctor” fans. Unfortunately, this is another one of those articles where we have to break some sad news to you guys. For some reason, ABC has elected not to air the next, new episode 19 of The Good Doctor’s current season 3 tonight, March 16, 2020.

Yes, guys. It’s true. It’s so very, very true. But, what’s also true is that we have official confirmation that The Good Doctor will be right back in action with the new episode 19 next Monday night, March 23,2020 in its usual 9 pm central standard time slot on ABC of course.

So, be sure to commit that very important date and time to memory or just right it down on something. Whichever is easiest for you to do.

So, what is ABC airing instead of the new episode 19 for The Good Doctor’s current season 3 tonight? That’s a very, very good question. According to the TV guide listings, ABC is airing a special episode of 20/20. It’s the 20th episode of its 42nd season.

ABC’s official description for tonight’s episode reads like this, “Outbreak: What You Need To Know Outbreak: What You Need To Know.” We think this might have something to do about that damn Corona virus that’s literally ruining everything these days. So, this special might be very important.

Anyways, if any of you guys want to see what this special 20/20 report is about, you will want to still flip on ABC tonight. If not, you will certainly want to switch up your schedules real, real quick.

With all of that said, we do have some new details for the new episode 19 of The Good Doctor’s current season 3. ABC was nice enough to put out a press release for it. So, we’re going to go over it real quick.

We must warn you guys that it does contain a few teaser spoilers. So, if you’re not a spoiler person, we highly advise you to close out of this article right now.

On the other side of that, if you like spoilers or don’t mind seeing them, we advise you to go ahead and stick around for the remainder of this article.

Now that our spoiler warning is out of the way, we’re going to jump right into this episode 19 press release and see what’s up.

To start, the official title for episode 19 is called, “Hurt.” So, that’s a real short and simple title.

It sounds like episode 19 will feature some intense, dangerous, dramatic, action-filled and emotional scenes.

In the new episode 19, we will see the first half of a two-part season finale episode. This will be major as a huge earthquake will totally rock the city of San Jose!

In light of this crazy earthquake, the entire staff of St. Bonaventure Hospital will be put on very high alert. They will also race against time to ensure safety ,or to rescue their friends and colleagues! Any damages from the earthquake will be assessed as well.

Elsewhere, Neil and Aaron will attend a charity event, but their outing will be very short-lived when this crazy earthquake effects their lives too!

ABC’s official description for episode 19 reads like this, “In the first episode of the two-part season finale, the city of San Jose is rocked by a massive earthquake that puts the staff of St. Bonaventure Hospital on high alert as they race to assess the damage and account for the safety of their colleagues and friends.

Meanwhile, Dr. Neil Melendez and Dr. Aaron Glassman are attending a charity event when their lives are threatened by the earthquake.”

An alternate description reads like this, “DISASTER STRIKES THE STAFF OF ST. BONAVENTURE HOSPITAL ON PART ONE OF THE SEASON FINALE.”

Episode 19 will feature quite a few guest stars. They are: Elfina Luk as character Nurse Villanueva, Karin Konoval as character Nurse Petringa, April Cameron as character Nurse Hawkes, Dylan Kingwell as character Steve Murphy.

Guest stars continued: Marin Ireland as character Vera Bernard, Bentley Green as character Casey Taylor, Lesley Boone as character Marta Cruz, Kim Hawthorne as character Noreen Frank, Avery Konrad as character Tamara Krantz, Eric Yue as character Carl Dell and Christina Lewall as character Kelly Smith.

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 19 are: Freddie Highmore as character Dr. Shaun Murphy, Antonia Thomas as character Dr. Claire Browne, Nicholas Gonzalez as character Dr. Neil Melendez, Hill Harper as character Dr. Marcus Andrews.

Season regulars continued: Richard Schiff as character Dr. Aaron Glassman, Christina Chang as character Dr. Audrey Lim, Fiona Gubelmann as character Dr. Morgan Reznick, Will Yun Lee as character Dr. Alex Park, Paige Spara as character Lea Dilallo and Jasika Nicole as character Dr. Carly Lever.

Episode 19 was written by Liz Friedman and Adam Scott Weissman, and it was directed by Mike Listo.

Again, ABC’s confirmed that the next, new episode 19 of The Good Doctor’s current season 3 is scheduled to air next Thursday night, March 23, 2020 at approximately 9 pm central standard time. Episodes can also be viewed the next day on demand and on Hulu.
