‘Young And The Restless’ March 20, 2020 Episode Delayed,Preempted In Certain USA Time Zones

Hey, “Young And The Restless” fans. We have some unfortunate news for you guys. Apparently, The Young And The Restless was indeed preempted/delayed today, March 20,2020 in certain time zones in the United States. We’re guessing the preemption happened in mostly the eastern and central standard time zones.

This time, the culprit was a special news report from President Donald Trump in regards to this crazy Caronavirus Pandemic. So, we think it was pretty important. The message we saw flash on our TV screen reads like this, “President Trump Invokes Defense Production Act.”

What I really took note of was that he’s also extended individual tax filing to July 15, 2020. I think I might take him up on that because I hate doing taxes. Geez.

Anyways, he also reassured the American people that they’ve revamped the way they handle pandemics like this. He said they had inherited an old system that was extremely out of date and useless.

He reiterated that they have fixed it. So, hopefully that means we’ll see them get some control over this Caronavirus pretty soon.

So, what does all this mean for today’s March 20, 2020 episode? When will you be able to watch it? We were able to track down some answers for you.

A couple of CBS affiliate stations, located on the east coast, hit up Twitter today with official announcements for how they’re handling it.

All of them said that today’s preempted March 20, 2020 episode will air on Monday March 23, 2020. So, you haven’t missed it. It’s just been delayed until Monday, pending they don’t try to interrupt the show again on Monday. You just never know. Heck, we didn’t know they were going to interrupt today’s show. They just do it out off nowhere without any notice.

Anyways, getting back to the CBS affiliate station tweets. Andrew Harrison WJTV @AndrewWJTV hit up Twitter to write, “Today’s episode of The Young and the Restless, that was preempted for a CBS News Special Report, will air on Monday 3/23 at its regular time. @wjtv.”

WROC Programming @WROConTV wrote on Twitter, “Friday’s episode of The Young and the Restless will air Monday #WROCTV.” You guys can view that tweet on Twitter by Clicking Here.

We also found a few tweets from disgruntled fans complaining about the preemption. Twitter user Cindy kahn @cindykahn1 wrote, “For f@#cks sake, we are missing Young and the Restless for this??????” You can view that tweet by Clicking Here.

Erin Sun behind cloud @erin_kinkade wrote, “just called my grandparents and they are very disappointed that the “meathead” of a president is taking over the tv during their regularly scheduled soap opera The Young and The Restless (which they’ve watched since it’s beginning).”

Never ask if Chemo is “safe” because it isn’t! Scared Americans chilling at home waiting for a check.. [They] want us scared!”

We found that a lot of these reports came from people on the east and central coasts, which makes sense because the Donald Trump report was over by 12:30 pm central standard time.

That gave the CBS affiliates in the west coast and mountain time zones enough time to go ahead and air The full episode of “The Young And The Restless” if they chose to. We’re still not sure if they chose to or not.

Anyways, if you were one of the ones who missed it, just look out for it this Monday,March 23, 2020.

Alright guys. That’s all we’ve got for this latest “Young And The Restless” TV show, special report, but definitely stay tuned for more.

The “Young And The Restless” airs every Monday through Friday at approximately 11:30 am central standard time on CBS. Stay tuned.

The Young and the Restless was actually pre-empted 3 or 4 days in the Central Time Zone. I stayed up very late so I could watch it on my computer after midnight. A lot of people will NOT see those days unless they see them on their computer.
