‘The Resident’ Season 3, March 31, 2020 Finale Episode 20 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “The Resident” fans. We are back on here, right now, to unfortunately give you guys some terrible news. It turns out that The Resident has run into a bit of a delay. So, FOX will not be airing the next, new season finale episode 20 of The Resident’s current season 3 tonight, March 31, 2020.

The super good news is that this delay will only be for tonight. We do have official confirmation from FOX that the new episode 20 is scheduled to air next Tuesday night, April 7, 2020 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot.

So, be sure to memorize that very important date and time or make sure you write it down on something. Just get it done.

So, what is The CW airing instead of the next,new episode 20 of The Resident’s current season 3 tonight? That is a very good question. According to the TV guide listings, FOX will be airing a repeat episode of The Resident.

The repeat episode they’re airing is the 3rd episode of this current season 3 titled, “Saints & Sinners.”

FOX’s official description for it reads like this, “A police officer shows up to the ER with an injured criminal that he caught in the act, and it’s up to the Chastain staff to keep him alive in order to save an innocent life.

Nic gets roped into a surgical rotation with Cain that leaves her questioning the way he operates, and Conrad makes a shocking discovery about the hospital. Meanwhile, Bell pursues a new fiscal venture that may bring him into a whole new market.”

If any of you guys have any desire to watch this repeat episode of The Resident for whatever reason, you will probably want to continue to watch The FOX network tonight as usual.

However,if this is not something you would like to do, you will most definitely want to make other plans real, real fast.

With all of that said, we have plenty of new intel for The Resident season 3’s finale episode 20. FOX served up an official press release for it. So, we’re going to reveal its contents.

Before we do, we must warn you guys that this episode 20 press does contain light spoiler teasers. So, if that’s not something you want to see, you should definitely just get out of here right now to put it bluntly.

On the other hand, if you love spoilers and actually seek them out, we certainly think you should stick around for the rest of this article.

Now that our spoiler warning has been given, it is time to read off this episode 20 press release. To start, it does reveal that episode 20 is officially titled, “Burn It All Down.”

It sounds like the new episode 20 will feature some very intense, dramatic, interesting and suspenseful scenes.

In the new episode 20, it will appear that Derek’s condition is improving, but that will most certainly not be the case. Oh, no, no, no. A very severe complication will flare up for poor Derek! This particular complication will make Kit think that Derek is another victim of Cain’s actions.

Speaking of Cain, one of his past girlfriends will end up getting admitted for surgery at the hospital. This situation will finally give the other doctor’s some sort of reveal into Cain’s personal life.

Conrad and Marshall will have an important-sounding scene in this episode. At some point,Conrad will let Marshall know all about the hospital’s current emergency situation.

Elsewhere, a salsa dancer with a major heart problem will be featured. Mina and The Raptor aka AJ will attempt to save this salsa dancer’s heart.

FOX’s official description for episode 20 reads like this, “Just when Derek’s condition seems to be improving, a severe complication arises, causing Kit to fear that he may be the latest victim of Cain’s cover-up.

When Cain’s former girlfriend is admitted to the hospital for surgery, the doctors finally get a glimpse into his personal life. Meanwhile, Conrad fills in Marshall on the emergency situation facing the hospital and Mina and The Raptor work on saving the heart of a salsa dancer.”

Episode 20 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Tasso Feldman as character Dr. Irving Feldman; Michael Hogan as character Dr. Albert Nolan; Vince Foster as character Dr. Paul Chu; Kearran Giovanni as character Andrea Braydon; Glenn Morshower as character Marshall Winthrop; Andy Ridings as character Derek Ingrams.

Guest stars continued: Chelsea Gilligan as character Molly Ingrams; Scarlett Blum as character Josie Ingrams; Neagheen Homaifar as character Dr. Zeba Latif; Philip Anthony-Rodriguez as character Miguel Espinoza; Nick Arapoglou as character Jason Brooks; Aisha Kabia as character Justine Hunt; Dianeliz Rodriguez as character Mercedes Montanaro and Vince Pisani as character Dr. Aaron Persopoulos.

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 20 are: Matt Czuchry as character “Conrad Hawkins,” Bruce Greenwood as character “Dr. Randolph Bell,” Manish Datal as character “Devon Pravesh,” Emily VanCamp as character Nicolette Nevin,” Shaunette RenĂ©e Wilson as character “Mina Okafor,” Malcolm-Jamal Warner as character “Dr. AJ Austin,” Jane Leeves as character “Dr. Kit Voss” and Morris Chestnut as character “Dr. Barrett Cain.”

Again, FOX confirmed that the next, new season finale episode 20 of The Resident’s current season 3 is scheduled to air next Tuesday night, April 7, 2020 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
