New ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Spoilers For Season 16, April 9, 2020 Finale Episode 21 Revealed

Hey,”Grey’s Anatomy” fans. We are back on here to give you guys a new spoiler rundown for the next, new episode 21 of this current Grey’s Anatomy season 16. Unfortunately, episode 21 will be the season finale episode because of the crazy pandemic we’re experiencing.

Yep, that’s right, guys. Season 16 was originally scheduled to air a whopping 25 episodes, but not anymore. They had to cut it down to just 21 episodes. Doesn’t that just make your skin boil?

Anyways, on a lighter note, we do have a few teaser descriptions for episode 21 courtesy of ABC’s official episode 21 press release. So, that will certainly be our source for this spoiler session. Let’s get into it.

To start, the official title for episode 21 is called, “Put On A Happy Face.” It sounds like episode 21 will feature some pretty interesting, possible dramatic, intense and suspenseful scenes as Link tries to convince Amelia to calm down during her pregnancy. Meredith gets asked a startling question! Owen finds something that totally shocks him and more!

We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Link and Amelia situation. It turns out that Amelia will be way to hyper or something in this episode.

Since it’s the final stages of Amelia’s pregnancy, Link will make an attempt to get Amelia to please settle down and take it easy.

ABC’s official description for this Link and Amelia scenario tells us, “Link tries to convince Amelia to take it easy during the final stage of her pregnancy.” An alternate description reads like this, “LINK AND AMELIA PREPARE FOR THE BIRTH OF THEIR BABY.”

Will Link get Amelia to take a chill pill so the final stages of her pregnancy can go smoothly? That is an important question we’ll hopefully see get answered in this episode. It certainly sounds like this storyline will feature some possible dramatic and emotional scenes for you guys. So, get ready for it.

The second spoiler scoop reveals that Hayes and Meredith will have a pretty interesting moment in this episode. At some point, Hayes is going to come up with a question for Meredith, and this particular question is going to totally startle the living daylights out of her!

ABC’s description for this Hayes and Meredith moment reads like this, “Hayes asks Meredith a surprising question.”

What will Hayes’ question turn out to be? That is the burning question for this particular scenario. It certainly does seem like this storyline will offer up some possible intense and dramatic scenes.

The 3rd and last teaser description lets us know that Owen will be very busy in this season finale episode. We will see Owen either search for or just stumble upon a new discovery, and it will be extremely shocking!

ABC’s description for this latest Owen scene reads like this, “Owen makes a shocking discovery.”

Just what in the hell is Owen going to find? That is certainly the $million dollar question for this particular scenario. There’s no doubt in our minds that this could be a huge scene when next Thursday night rolls around.

ABC also released a lot of new preview photos for episode 21. A major surgery scene is featured in a couple of these pics. So, get ready for that to take place. Owen is seen looking quite serious in a couple of the photos.

Of course, our main lady Meredith is spotted in a few of the photos. She’s seen conducting business with Maggie and Bailey in one of the snap shots. Meredith is also seen looking quite happy in a different scene.

Episode 21 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Debbie Allen as character Catherine Fox, Stephanie Spampinato as character Carina DeLuca, Richard Flood as character Cormac Hayes, Jaicy Elliot as character Taryn Helm, Caroline Basu as character Daya, Raoul Bhaneja as character Samar and Chris Meyer as character CJ Madison.

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 21 are: Ellen Pompeo as character Meredith Grey, Chandra Wilson as character Miranda Bailey, James Pickens Jr. as character Richard Webber, Kevin McKidd as character Owen Hunt, Jesse Williams as character Jackson Avery.

Season regulars continued: Caterina Scorsone as character Amelia Shepherd, Camilla Luddington as character Jo Wilson, Kelly McCreary as character Maggie Pierce, Kim Raver as character Teddy Altman, Giacomo Gianniotti as character Andrew DeLuca, Greg Germann as character Tom Koracick, Chris Carmack as character Atticus “Link” Lincoln and Jake Borelli as character Levi Schmitt.

Episode 21 was written by Mark Driscoll and Tameson Duffy, and it was directed by Deborah Pratt.

ABC’s press release confirmed that episode 21 is indeed scheduled to air next Thursday night, April 9, 2020 at approximately 8 pm central standard time. Episodes can also be viewed the next day on demand and on Hulu.
