‘God Friended Me’ Season 2, April 5, 2020 Episode 19 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “God Friended Me” fans. We are back on here to unfortunately deliver some very bad news. For some reason, CBS has elected not to air the next, new episode 19 of God Friended Me’s current season 2 tonight, April 5, 2020.

On a much, much brighter note, we can tell you that this delay is only for tonight. We have official confirmation from the wonderful folks over at CBS that the new episode 19 is indeed scheduled to air next Sunday night,April 12, 2020 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot. So, be sure to log that very important date and time into your memory banks.

So, what is CBS airing instead of the brand new episode 19 of God Friended Me’s current season 2 tonight? Well, according to the TV Guide listings, CBS is going to air some sort of country music special called/titled,”ACM PRESENTS: OUR COUNTRY.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Featuring intimate conversations and at-home acoustic performances with country music’s stars, along with clips from the Academy of Country Music Awards’ 55-year history.

Performers include Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Kane Brown and John Legend, Luke Bryan, Brandi Carlile, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Sheryl Crow, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley and Darius Rucker, Thomas Rhett, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, and more.”

It that country music special sounds like something you might want to watch, you should go ahead and tune in to CBS as you normally would.

On the other hand, if you are totally not interested in seeing this country music special, you will most certainly want to get a new set of plans lined up because this thing is taking up a whopping 2 hours of CBS’ primetime schedule tonight.

With that said, we were able to dig up some new intel for the next, new episode 19 of God Friended Me’s current season 2. CBS was nice enough to put out a press release for it. So, we’re going to go over it real quick for you guys.

If you are not a spoiler person, you should definitely skip this segment because the press release does contain a few light spoiler teasers.

On the other hand, if you like spoilers and just can’t get enough of them, we definitely think you should stick around for the rest of this article.

Alright, now that our spoiler warning has been released into the universe, it is time to dive real, real deep into this new episode 19 press release. Let’s get into it.

For starters, it lets us know that episode 19 is officially titled, “The Fugitive.” It sounds like episode 19 will feature some pretty interesting, intense, dramatic and possible action-filled scenes.

In the new episode 19, a bounty hunter named Bonnie will be on the scene. Bonnie will be searching for Mile’s latest friend suggestion who is a petty criminal that’s trying to avoid showing up in court.

In light of this intense search from the bounty hunter, Miles,Cara and Rakesh will attempt to stay one step ahead of the bounty hunter.

Also, Miles is going to start losing interest in the mystery of who is actually running the God Account, but Rakesh sure won’t. In fact, he will actually step up the intensity of the search with a serious plot that involves hacking a super powerful, government grade computer that can break through the God Account’s firewall system.

CBS’ official description for episode 19 reads like this, “Miles, Cara and Rakesh try to stay a step ahead of a bounty hunter, Bonnie (Erica Tazel), who’s searching for Miles’ new friend suggestion, a petty criminal-turned-fugitive for evading court.

Also, when Miles loses interest in who’s behind the God Account, Rakesh intensifies the search by planning to hack a powerful government super computer that can break through the Account’s firewall.”

An alternate description reads like this, “MILES AND THE GOD SQUAD TRY TO STAY A STEP AHEAD OF A BOUNTY HUNTER WHO’S SEARCHING FOR MILES’ NEW FRIEND SUGGESTION, A PETTY CRIMINAL-TURNED-FUGITIVE.”

Episode 19 features quite a few guest stars. They are: Keenan Jolliff as character (Russell), Erica Tazel as character (Bonnie), Chosen Jacobs as character (Zack), Vinny Chhibber as character (Sameer).

Guest stars continued: Vandit Bhatt as character (Jai), Toni Di Buono as character (Judy), Justin Hagan as character (Gil), Jammie Patton as character (Vicky), Maceo Oliver as character (Judge Hawkins), Tracey Sallows as character (Joan), Dina Laura as character (Bailiff) and Blake Williams as character (Man).

Episode 19 will feature a few recurring stars.They are: Chris Conroy as character (Adam) and Cornelius Smith, Jr. as character (Corey).

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 19 are: Brandon Micheal Hall as character (Miles Finer), Violett Beane as character (Cara Bloom), Joe Morton as character (Arthur Finer), Suraj Sharma as character (Rakesh Singh), Javicia Leslie as character (Ali Finer) and Erica Gimpel as character (Trish).

Episode 19 was written by Richard Lowe, and it was directed by Bola Ogun. Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 19 of God Friended Me’s current season 2 is scheduled to air next Sunday night, April 12, 2020 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
