‘NCIS Los Angeles’ Season 11, April 5, 2020 Episode 20 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey,”NCIS: Los Angeles” fans. We have just learned about a new set of bad news for you guys. I know. It’s very unfortunate, but we’ve just got to tell you anyways. It turns out that, for some reason, CBS is not airing the next, new episode 20 of NCIS: Los Angeles’ current season 11 tonight, April 5, 2020.

The glimmer of light in all of this is that you guys won’t have to wait too long to see episode 20. We can officially confirm that episode 20 is scheduled to air next Sunday night, April 12, 2020 in its usual 8 pm central standard time slot on CBS of course.

So, just make sure that nothing in this world allows you to forget that very important date and time. I mean it. I’m serious. Don’t forget it.

So, what will CBS air instead of the next, new episode 20 of NCIS: Los Angeles’ current season 11 tonight? That is a very good question. According to the TV guide listings, CBS is planning to air another country music special titled, “ACM PRESENTS: OUR COUNTRY.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Featuring intimate conversations and at-home acoustic performances with country music’s stars, along with clips from the Academy of Country Music Awards’ 55-year history.

Performers include Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Kane Brown and John Legend, Luke Bryan, Brandi Carlile, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Sheryl Crow, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley and Darius Rucker, Thomas Rhett, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, and more.”

If that country music special sounds like something you guys can get in to, you might still want to turn the channel to CBS tonight. If you absolutely don’t want to watch this country music special, you will definitely want to find another channel to watch, or find something else to do.

With all that said, the terrific CBS folks did serve up an official press release for the next, new episode 20 of NCIS: Los Angeles’ current season 11. That means we have some new episode 11 info for you guys.

However, before we get into it, we must take some time out to warn you that the episode 20 press release does contain some light spoiler teasers. If spoilers do not tickle your fancy, we do highly suggest that you exit this article as quick as you can.

On the other hand, if you love spoilers, and your day actually doesn’t feel complete without them, you are definitely encouraged to stick around for the rest of this segment.

Ok,now that our spoiler warning is out of the way, let’s jump right smack dab into this new episode 20 press release.

For starters, it lets us know that episode 20 is officially titled, “Knock Down.” It sounds like the new episode 20 will feature some very interesting, intense,dramatic, action-filled and possible emotional scenes.

In the new episode 20, an arsonist will be out on the loose, and he or she will be targeting an FBI safe house that’s making sure a political activist that’s seeking asylum is safe. In light of this development, the NCIS: Los Angeles crew is going to join forces with the DOJ to investigate this arsonist.

Elsewhere, Eric will certainly have a moment in this episode. At some point, we will see Eric doing the best he can to deal with the fact that Nell has left the team.

CBS’ official description for episode 20 reads like this, “NCIS assists the DOJ in the investigation of an arsonist who targets an FBI safe house that’s protecting a political activist seeking asylum. Also, Eric deals with the aftermath of Nell leaving the team.”

Episode 20 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Caleb Castille as character (FBI Special Agent Devin Rountree), Shani Atias as character (Roxie Larian), Michelle Azar as character (Doctor Shahmir Gilani), Mark Engelhardt as character (LAPD Bomb Disposal Tech) and Adam Kaiz as character (Dude with Metal Detector).

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 20 are: Chris O’Donnell as character (Special Agent G. Callen), LL COOL J as character (Special Agent Sam Hanna), Linda Hunt as character (Operations Manager Henrietta “Hetty” Lange), Daniela Ruah as character (Special Agent Kensi Blye).

Season regulars continued: Eric Christian Olsen as character (LAPD Detective Marty Deeks), Barrett Foa as character (Tech Operator Eric Beale), Renée Felice Smith as character (Intelligence Analyst Nell Jones) and Medalion Rahimi as character (Special Agent Fatima Namazi).

Episode 20 was written by Jordana Lewis Jaffe, and it was directed by Tony Wharmby. Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 20 of NCIS: Los Angeles’ current season 11 is scheduled to air next Sunday night, April 12, 2020 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
