‘Empire’ Spoilers For Season 6, April 14, 2020 Episode 17 Revealed

Hey, “Empire” fans. We are back at you on another Tuesday night to go over a new set of spoiler scoops. In this article, we’re going to tell you what’s coming up in the next, new episode 17, which is due out next Tuesday night, April 14, 2020.

The lovely people over at FOX were kind enough to put out an official press release for episode 17. So, we’re going to dish out all the teaser descriptions it provided, and we’re going to do it right now. Let’s get started.

First off, we’ve got an official title for episode 17. It’s called, “Over Everything.” It sounds like the new episode 17 will feature some very interesting, intense, dramatic and lively scenes as Lucious discovers Andre’s business mistakes.

Cookie attempts to make BossyFest happen. Hakeem and Maya find success. Becky celebrates her birthday and more.

We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Lucious situation. It turns out that Lucious will certainly be back on top at Empire now that loony Andre has been committed for only God knows how long. Probably forever after what he pulled in last week’s episode.

Anyways, while Lucious is back in charge, he will ,surely enough, dig up some business mistakes Andre made through Kelly Patel.

FOX’s official description for this latest Lucious discovery reads like this, “Lucious continues to run Empire and discovers some of Andre’s business missteps by way of Kelly Patel (guest star Pej Vahdat).

What will these missteps entail? Will Lucious clean them up? Those are some important questions for this particular storyline. We’ll definitely have to wait and see what Lucious ultimately does about this Andre and Kelly Patel situation.

It certainly sounds like this plotline could feature some intense and interesting scenes. So, get ready for it when next Tuesday night rolls around.

The second spoiler scoop reveals that Cookie will be quite busy in this episode. Apparently, she’s going to have quite a few major obstacles thrown in her direction when she attempts to relaunch BossyFest.

FOX’s description for this Bossyfest debacle reads like this, “Cookie tries to relaunch BossyFest but is met with major obstacles from the ASAs.”

We did find some extra intel for this Cookie and Bossyfest situation. We’re officially hearing that Cookie will indeed get Bossyfest relaunched despite all the difficulties that are thrown at her.

This will happen in episode 18. So, get ready to see Cookie bust down another obstacle in her path in the immediate future.

The 3rd spoiler teaser reveals that Maya and Hakeem will still be kickin it together, and apparently things will work out pretty good for them as their partnership proves to be beneficial.

FOX’s description for this latest Hakeem and Maya situation reads like this, “Hakeem and Maya’s unlikely partnership proves to be beneficial.”

Here’s what I want to say about these two. Damn, that track “Lookin At Me” they did in last week’s episode was fire! Who else downloaded that song? I can’t stop listening to it.

Other than that, we don’t have any other intel for Hakeem and Maya beyond this episode. We do think whatever they end up doing could be pretty interesting though. So, keep an eye out for those two.

The 4th and last teaser description lets us know that Becky will be in a festive and lively mood. Apparently, it will be Becky’s birthday, and she will be celebrating the hell out of it.

FOX’s description for this Becky birthday celebration reads like, “Becky celebrates her birthday.”

We think this storyline is pretty straight forward. We’re not sensing that there will be any other twists and turns associated with it, but who knows? We think this storyline could be pretty entertaining depending on what Becky does to celebrate.

Episode 17 features a couple of guest stars. They are: Kiandra Richardson as character Yana, Pej Vahdat as character Kelly Patel, James Farruggio as character Jay Fanshaw and D.B. Sweeney as character Elvis Stone

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 17 are: Terrence DaShon Howard as character Lucious Lyon, Taraji P. Henson as character Cookie Lyon, Trai Byers as character Andre Lyon, Bryshere ‘Yazz’ Gray as character Hakeem Lyon, Serayah McNeill as character Tiana, Gabourey Sidibe as character Becky.

Season regulars continued: Ta’Rhonda Jones as character Porsha, Wood Harris as character Damon, Meta Golding as character Teri, Katlynn Simone as character Treasure, Rhyon Nicole Brown as character Maya, Nicole Ari Parker as character Giselle Sims-Barker, A.Z. Kelsey as character Jeff Kingsley, Mario as character Devon and Vivica A. Fox as character Candace.

FOX’s press release confirmed that episode 17 is indeed scheduled to air next Tuesday night, April 14, 2020 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
