‘General Hospital’ April 24, 2020 New Episode Delayed. Repeat Episode To Air
Hey, “General Hospital” fans. We are back at you at the end of another week to inform you that ABC will continue their strategy of not airing a new episode of General Hospital on Fridays.
Instead, they will air a classic/repeat episode of General Hospital in an effort to preserve all the new episodes they have left in the tank.
As we previously reported, The General Hospital production was shut down in March 2020 do this crazy pandemic we’re in. The Friday repeat episodes are currently scheduled to continue until Friday, May 22, 2020. After that, is a mystery. We’re guessing that’s when they’ll probably run out of all new episodes all together.
According to the folks over at TV Line, General Hospital only had two months worth of new episodes filmed when they got shut down in mid to late March 2020. So, given that fact, we’re pretty sure that they will run out of new episodes on May 22, 2020.
According to soapoperanetwork.com, ABC will air another classic/repeat episode of General Hospital.
However, unlike the last couple of weeks, they were not able to give the exact repeat episode that ABC will be airing. So, you guys will have to tune in to see which one it is.
If any of you guys are up for a General Hospital rerun, you might want to still tune into ABC as you normally would during that time. If you totally know that you don’t want to watch a repeat episode of General Hospital no matter which one it is, you will certainly want to get something else lined up as fast as you can.
Spoiler warning: For those of you who are interested, we do have a couple of spoiler scoops for next week’s new batch of episodes.
Expect to see Chase have a debate of sorts with Willow in the April 30, 2020 episode. Finn will see right through the lies that Chase is dishing out in the April 29, 2020 episode.
Laura will give Lulu some reassurance in the April 28, 2020 episode. We’ll also see Lulu race to Crimson at some point in the April 29, 2020 episode. So, there’s plenty of new storylines in store for next week. Get ready for them.
