As we previously reported, The Young And The Restless production crew and cast had to shut down everything due to this pandemic. So, they couldn’t create new episodes. Earlier this month April 2020, CBS resorted to showing repeat episodes on Fridays in an effort to preserve as many new episodes as they could.

Now, it appears that there is no more new episodes to preserve. They’re totally gone now according to a recent report from the folks over at TVLine.com.

They say that the Young And The Restless crew were filming only a little more than a month ahead of the actual airdates. So, that left them with only a little more than a month’s worth of new episodes before they ran out.

According to TV Line, CBS is going to just start airing repeat episodes of The Young And The Restless from here on out until further notice.

Today, we’re going to tell you which repeat episode they have in store for tomorrow, April 24, 2020. According the folks over at soapoperanetwork.com, CBS will be re-airing the August 21, 1996 episode.

The official description for this episode reads like this, “The newlyweds Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) are honeymooning in a tropical paradise, blissfully unaware that their nemesis, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), is also vacationing there.

Determined to have the island to herself, Phyllis finds a slimy way to spoil their trip. Back in Genoa City, Sharon and Nick Newman (Sharon Case and Joshua Morrow) plan a family dinner to share their baby news.”

If you guys have any desire to rewatch that repeat episode, go ahead and watch CBS as you normally would at that time. If you don’t want to rewatch that episode, you will definitely want to schedule some different plans as quick as you can.

The soapoperanetwork.com also mentioned that during the week of April 27-31, 2020, CBS will be airing themed episodes dedicated to “Katherine The Great” aka Katherine Chancellor.

Again, if that sounds enticing, just go ahead and watch CBS around the same time you normally would. If not, it’s time to find something else to watch or do for a while.
