‘General Hospital’ May 1, 2020 New Episode Delayed. Repeat Episode To Air Instead

Happy Thursday, “General Hospital” fans. We are back on here to inform you guys that it’s the end of another week again tomorrow, and that means ABC will not be airing a new episode tomorrow, Friday, May 1, 2020.

They’re airing repeat episodes every Friday in an effort to preserve as many new episodes as they can because the General Hospital cast and crew have been shut down from filming new episodes due to the current pandemic our country is facing.

We were able to track down the repeat episode that ABC is airing tomorrow. According to the folks over at the soapoperanetwork.com, ABC will be re-airing the episode that originally aired way back on Tuesday, April 1, 2014.

This was the 51st anniversary episode, which featured the three faces of Carly Corinthos: Sarah Joy Brown (1996-2001), Tamara Braun (2001-2005) and Laura Wright (2005-present).

In this episode, Brown and Braun make cameo appearances as Carly during scenes alongside Maurice Benard‘s Sonny as he and Carly (Wright) bond and reflect on their stormy past. Sonny tries to deal with the ramifications of what he has done ,and he tries to get Carly to not tell Michael (Chad Duell) the truth.

Soapoperanetwork went on to describe more details about this episode. Apparently, it starts off showing scenes in a black and white format with General Hospital’s doctors and nurses of the past being paged.

From there, the episode forwards to the present day with Monica facing the reality of losing her son, AJ (Sean Kanan) only to be comforted by the ghost of her deceased daughter Emily (Natalia Livingston).

Meanwhile, Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) learns that Noah Drake (Rick Springfield) is in love with someone else while Lucy (Lynn Herring) is determined to end her affair with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) for good. It’s also noted that this episode brought in 2.9 million LIVE viewers.

If this particular repeat episode sounds like something you guys want to check out, be sure to tune into ABC like you normally would tomorrow, May 1, 2020 at approximately 1 pm central standard time.

If you do not want to watch this repeat episode under any circumstances, you will definitely want to get some other plans lined up as quick as you can.
