Twitch said, “I wanted to see more side by side.” Jennifer said, “I loved how you pushed the boundaries.” Ne-Yo said, ” I saw a bit of off-timing issues ,and I had to count that because this is a competition for a $million dollars.”

Josh & Erica hit the stage next. After their performance, Ne-Yo said, “It was interesting. I still feel that Josh hits the moves stronger than Erica.” Derek jumped in and disagreed saying, “I think Erica was strong, especially when she did the leg extension, lift thing. I don’t know what you saw there, Ne-Yo.”

Jennifer said, “It was a risky routine. When you are using a prop, it puts you a tiny bit in your head because you can’t do as much as you would normally do,but you pulled it off well.” Twitch said, “These are two very different pieces of art.”

Finally, Derek chose Josh & Erica. Jennifer chose Jake & Chau, and Ne-Yo chose Jake & Chau. So, Jake & Chau won the duel and made it through to the next round. Meanwhile, Josh & Erica had to hope and pray they would get picked for the Redemption round by Twitch.

Next, the judges pitted Oxygen against Geometrie Variable.

Geometrie Variable was up first. Their performance was amazing. They totally improved upon their first performance. They specialized in making shapes with their arms and so on and so forth. The movements were very sharp and precise. The judges loved the hell out of it. Ne-Yo even ran up and gave them all high fives afterwards!

Twitch said, “It looked like just what the music sounded like.” Ne-Yo said, “I was looking for something to critique, but I couldn’t find anything.” Jennifer said, “I wondered if you can do new things, and you did. It was surprising and exciting.” Derek said, “It was surgical.”

Next, Oxygen hit the stage with an almost equally impressive routine. I mean their moves were very sharp and on point. No doubt.

Afterwards, Ne-Yo said, “I liked it, but I’m disappointed that you left out the arm movements you did during your first audition. That’s why we paired you up against Geometrie Variable because you had similar dance styles.”

Jennifer said, “It was fun, but it has to be pushing the boundaries.” Derek said, “I feel like you took out your special sauce. Your first performance was better.” Twitch said, “I thought it was dope. I felt like I was supposed to feel when I saw you guys doing the popping and locking.”

Finally, Jennifer chose Geometrie Variable. Derek chose Geometrie Variable, and Ne-Yo chose Geometrie Variable.” So, Oxygen had to hope Twitch picked them to come back for Redemption.

Next, it was time for Twitch to pick which two acts went on to Redemption. He ultimately decided to send Styles & Emma through to compete against Oxygen for the final spot.

Styles and Emma were up first. The judges were really impressed with what they came with, and they let them know it afterwards. At one point, Derek said, “Why was this not their first routine?”

Next, Oxygen came out and just totally nailed the hell out of this Redemption performance. They pulled out stuff they’ve never shown before. Their movements were extremely precise. Ne-Yo jumped out of his seat afterwards to go run around them in amazement!

Afterwards, Jennifer told Geometrie Variable, ” Ya’ll better be glad Oxygen didn’t do that routine against ya’ll. It was one of, if not the most precise routines I have seen in four seasons. Ya’ll cannot come out and play. You need to come with that type of stuff everytime. You gotta treat every performance as if it is your last and only chance.”

Derek said, “I’m infuriated that we have to lose one of these two acts.” Twitch said, “It has to be like that every single time. Don’t hold back.” Jennifer said, “Take no moment for granted.”

Next, the judge finally revealed that they all just wanted more of Oxygen. So, Oxygen won the Redemption round to make it through to the next stage. Meanwhile, Styles and Emma had to say goodbye even though they pulled out one heck of a redemption performance.
