New ‘Perry Mason’ Spoilers For Season 1, August 9, 2020 Finale Episode 8 Revealed

Hey, “Perry Mason” fans. We hope you guys enjoyed episode 7. Now that it has officially come and gone, it’s time for us to tell you how this first season of Perry Mason will officially wrap up when the season finale episode 8 hits the airwaves next Sunday night, August 9, 2020. That’s right, guys. Episode 8 will indeed be the last episode of this very first season.

The wonderful people over at HBO were nice enough to deliver a couple of official teaser descriptions for episode 8 via their episode 8 press release. So, we’re going to dive on into those right now. Let’s get started.

First off, episode 8 is officially titled, “Chapter Eight.” So, that’s pretty simple. It sounds like episode 8 will feature some pretty interesting, possible action-filled, intense, dramatic and suspenseful scenes as the team gets a very raw critique from Hamilton Burger. Mason, Strickland, Della and Drake try to tie up lose ends and more.

We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the team situation. It turns out that the team will totally be the subject of a very straight forward and raw critique from Hamilton Burger in this episode.

In response to this, Della will tell a very stubborn Mason why they need to call Emily to the stand.

HBO’s official description for this Mason, Emily and Hamilton Burger storyline reads like this, “After the team receives some unvarnished critique from Hamilton Burger (Justin Kirk), Della (Juliet Rylance) presents an increasingly stubborn Mason (Matthew Rhys) with her case for putting Emily (Gayle Rankin) on the stand.”

Will Della convince Mason to put Emily on the stand? That’s a big question we’ll be looking to see get answered in this episode. Whatever the case, it certainly sounds like we’ll get some pretty interesting and intense scenes out of this storyline. So, get ready for it.

The second and last teaser description lets us know that the trial will finally start to come to an end. So, Mason, Strickland, Della and Drake will attempt to do whatever they can to make sure any lose ends are all tied up.

HBO’s description for this latest Mason,Strickland, Della and Drake storyline tells us,”As the sensational trial winds to a close, Mason, Strickland (Shea Whigham), Della, and Drake (Chris Chalk) attempt to tie up loose ends, and set the stage for their futures.”

Will Mason, Strickland, Della and Drake succeed in tying up those lose ends? That’s a very important question for this particular plotline. It definitely sounds like this plotline could feature some very interesting, intense and possible suspenseful scenes.

We know for a fact that HBO has renewed Perry Mason for a brand new season 2. Yep, that’s right, guys. So, you might be seeing some possible cliffhangers get featured to set up for the new,second season.

Episode 8 was written by Rolin Jones & Ron Fitzgerald & Kevin J. Hynes, and it was directed by Tim Van Patten.

HBO’s press release confirmed that the next, new, season finale episode 8 of Perry Mason’s very first season 1 is indeed scheduled to air next Sunday night, August 9, 2020 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
