General Hospital February 9, 2021 Episode Delayed, Preempted In The USA
Hey,General Hospital fans. We’ve got some pretty bad news for you guys today, February 9, 2021. It turns out that ABC and all the other major networks decided to provide LIVE,full coverage of the second Donald Trump impeachment trial. So, they did not air the new episode of General Hospital.
We’re pretty sure this LIVE coverage is going to last at least a couple of days given what they said. We know ,for sure, they plan to serve up more LIVE coverage tomorrow, February 10, 2021. We just don’t know exactly what time. However, we’re pretty sure it will be in the daytime, which means General Hospital could definitely get preempted again.
The official General Hospital Twitter page did make an announcement about this General Hospital dilemma. They wrote, “Due to ongoing breaking news coverage, today’s scheduled episode of General Hospital will instead air tomorrow. #GH.” You guys can view that tweet over on Twitter by

Again, we’re not sure how true that will be if ABC keeps providing LIVE coverage of this trial everyday. So, we will have to play this by ear.
A couple of upset fans also hit up Twitter to express their frustrations.

Just wanted to bring to your attention that both references to February dates within your article reference 2020, not 2021.
Why do they always have to preempt general hospital for anything abc feels is newsworthy. Why can’t they preempt the morning shows?
