Chicago PD Season 8, February 24, 2021 Episode 8 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “Chicago P.D.” fans. Unfortunately, it’s that time again. We’re having to jump back on here to warn you guys that your favorite show Chicago P.D. is currently MIA from NBC’s prime time line up. Well, at least the next, new episode 8 is.

That’s right, guys. For some unknown reason, NBC will not be airing the next, new episode 8 of Chicago PD’s current season 8 tonight, February 24, 2021.

This news does get worse as we have to tell you that NBC will not be airing the new episode 8 next week either. It’s currently on a two-week delay. We do have official confirmation from NBC that they intend to air the new episode 8 on Wednesday night, March 10,2021 in its usual 9 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to mark down that very important date and time on your TV show calendars as quick as you can.

We found out what NBC is planning to air in place of the next, new episode 8 of Chicago PD’s current season 8. Tonight, they’re going to air a repeat episode of Chicago PD. This rerun episode will be the 3rd episode of this season 8 titled, “Tender Age.”

NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “Ruzek and Burgess discover a child walking alone in the middle of the street, and when they take her home, they discover that her entire family has been murdered. Upton is approached with a job offer from the FBI.”

Then, next Wednesday night, NBC is going to air another repeat episode of Chicago PD. It’s the 4th episode of this season 9 titled, “Unforgiven.”

NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “A cop is murdered, and suspicion falls on someone who has been holding a grudge against the officer. Intelligence works hard to solve the case, but Deputy Superintendent Samantha Miller is hesitant to defend him until she knows the whole story.”

If any of you guys might want to view these repeat episodes, you might still want to flip on NBC ,tonight, as you normally would at that time.

If you know you absolutely don’t want to watch these reruns, you will certainly want to get some other plans lined up as quick as possible.

Spoiler Warning: For those of you who are interested, we were able to track down some new spoiler scoops for the next, new episode 8 of Chicago PD’s current season 8. NBC served up an official press release for it. So, we’re going to get into that right now.

To start, we’ve got the official title for episode 8. It’s called, “PROTECT AND SERVE.” It sounds like episode 8 will feature some very intense, dramatic, action-filled, interesting and possible suspenseful scenes.

In the new episode 8, a high-profile shooting is going to take place at some point! This terrible event will cause Ruzek and Atwater to get tasked with the job of making an arrest.

When they try to make this arrest, some major difficulties will arise because there is someone on the scene that clearly doesn’t want Ruzek and Atwater to get back to the station.

NBC’s official description for episode 8 reads like this, “Ruzek and Atwater are tasked with making an arrest after a high-profile shooting. The situation becomes complicated when it’s clear someone doesn’t want them to make it back to the station.”

Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 8 of Chicago PD’s current season 8 is scheduled to finally arrive on Wednesday night, March 10, 2021 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
