Prodigal Son Season 2, March 9, 2021 Episode 8 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “Prodigal Son” fans. If you tried to tune in last night, March 9, 2021, to catch the next, new episode 8 of Prodigal Son’s current season 2, we’re quite sure you were very disappointed to see that it was not on. Unfortunately, we have to tell you that episode 8 is currently being delayed by FOX for about a month!
That’s right guys. We’ve gotten official word from FOX that they don’t intend to air the new episode 8 until Tuesday night, April 13, 2021 in its usual 8 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to commit that very important date and time to your memory banks so you can be totally prepared for it.
So, what did FOX air instead of the next, new episode 8 of Prodigal Son’s current season 2 last night? Well, according to the TV guide listings, FOX aired a repeat episode of “Name That Tune.” It was the first episode of its current season 1.
FOX’s official description for it reads like this, “Contestants battle for the prize in this series premiere episode.”
Next Tuesday night, March 16, 2021, FOX will be airing a show called, “Holmes Family Effect. A Trade of a Lifetime; Think Big. Dream Bigger.” It’s the season 1 premiere episode of this show.
FOX’s official description for it reads like this, “Mike, Sherry and Michael Holmes help to save a school’s skilled trades program; the family works to overhaul an entrepreneurial co-op.”
On Tuesday, March 30, 2021 and April 6, 2021, FOX plans to air repeat episodes of Prodigal Son. We don’t currently know which repeat episodes they will be airing. So, we will have to play that by ear for now.
If any of you guys are interested in watching this alternate line of programming that FOX has in store during this delay, you might still want to flip on FOX as you normally would during that time.
If you won’t settle for anything other than the new episode 8 of Prodigal Son, you will definitely want to make some other plans for this next month until that magical April 13,2021 date rolls around.
FOX has yet to release any new promotional materials for the next, new episode 8 of Prodigal Son’s current season 2. So, we don’t have any new details for it at this time. FOX is telling us that episode 8 will be the show’s Spring Premiere.
We’re guessing they had to take this long delay to film more episodes. We’re pretty sure filming around this pandemic has a lot to do with all of these delays.
Prodigal Son season 2 is currently averaging 2.195 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.44 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The last episode 7 drew in 1.900 million LIVE viewers and a 0.36 ratings score. FOX has yet to renew Prodigal Son for a new season 3. So, we’ll have to wait and see if those numbers will be good enough for FOX.
Again, FOX confirmed that the next,new episode 8 of Prodigal Son’s current season 2 is scheduled to finally air on Tuesday night, April 13, 2021 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
