MacGyver Season 5, April 23, 2021 Finale Episode 15 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “MacGyver” fans. We are back on here with some more MacGyver news. However, we’re afraid that you’re not going to like it. There’s another delay in place tonight. That means CBS will not be airing the next, new finale episode 15 of MacGyver’s current and last season 5 tonight, April 23, 2021.

The good news is that CBS does plan to air the new episode 15 next Friday night, April 30, 2021 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to implant that very important date and time into your memory banks so you don’t miss out next Friday.

We did find out what CBS will be airing instead of the next, new episode 15 of MacGyver’s current and final season 5 tonight. According to the TV guide listings, CBS will be airing a repeat episode of MacGyver. This repeat episode will be the first episode of this season 5 titled, “Resort + Desi + Riley + Window Cleaner + Witness.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Mac and the team infiltrate a glamorous hotel used as an international hideout for criminals to find a woman with vital information on Codex. However, their target has a new secret identity, including a completely new face on a rebroadcast of the fifth season premiere of MACGYVER.”

If any of you guys are down for watching this particular repeat episode of MacGyver, you might still want to flip on CBS tonight.

However, if you only want the new episode 15 of MacGyver season 5, you will most certainly want to get some alternate plans in place as soon as you can.

Spoiler Warning: For those of you who like reading spoilers, we did hunt down a few of them for the next, new episode 15 of MacGyver’s 5th and final season. CBS served up an official press release for it. So, we’re going to run it by you right now.

To start, CBS revealed that this new, finale episode 15 is officially titled, “Abduction + Memory + Time + Fireworks + Dispersal.” It sounds like episode 15 will feature some very interesting, intense, dramatic, possible action-filled and suspenseful scenes.

In the new episode 15, MacGyver and Riley are going to be in big, big trouble when they turn up missing. Apparently, they’re going to wake up in a corn field with no memory of how they ended up there!

As their mystery situation continues, MacGyver and Riley will attempt to figure out just what in the hell happened to them. They will also be very, very busy trying to get rid of the nanotrackers that have been implanted into their bodies.

CBS’ official description for episode 15 tells us, “When Mac and Riley go missing and wake up 24 hours later in a corn field with no memory of how they got there, they must unravel the mystery to find who took them, and how to get rid of the nanotrackers in their bodies, no matter the cost, on the series finale of MACGYVER.”


Episode 15 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Amy Dionne as character (Dr. Sandria), Alexandra Grey as character (Parker), Shi Ne Nielson as character (Jennifer Poole), Jennifer Griffin as character (Helga), Tom Nowicki as character (Orson Marcato), Ajay Vishwanathan as character (Cresta), Charles Carson Monroe as character (Dad Bod), Harlan Drum as character (Brooklyn), Paige Stanco as character (Sara) and Jai’len Josey as character (Singer).

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 15 are: Lucas Till as character (Angus “Mac” MacGyver), Tristin Mays as character (Riley Davis), Justin Hires as character (Wilt Bozer), Meredith Eaton as character (Matty Weber), Levy Tran as character (Desi Nguyen) and Henry Ian Cusick as character (Russ Taylor).

Episode 15 was written by Monica Macer, Alessia Costantini, Andrew Klein and Stephanie Hicks, and it was directed by David Straiton.

Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new, finale episode 15 of MacGyver’s current and last season 5 is scheduled to finally show up next Friday night, April 23, 2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
