Kung Fu Season 1, June 9, 2021 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing For A While

Hey, “Kung Fu” fans. Unfortunately, we are on here, today, because we’ve just learned some super bad news that we have to give to you. It turns out that for some unknown reason, The CW will not be airing the next, new episode 9 of Kung Fu’s current premiere season 1 tonight, June 9,2021. This news does get worse because the same exact scenario is happening next Wednesday night, June 16, 2021.

That’s right, guys. New episodes of Kung Fu are currently being delayed for two weeks. The CW confirmed that they do plan to air the new episode 9 on Wednesday night, June 23, 2021 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to not forget that very important date and time.

We did find out what The CW is airing instead of the next,new episode 9 of Kung Fu’s current season 1 over these next two weeks. Tonight, The CW is airing a repeat episode of Kung Fu. This repeat episode will be the 2nd episode of this season 1 titled, “Silence.”

The CW’s official description for it reads like this, “When adjusting to life back at home doesn’t go as planned, Nicky (Olivia Liang) turns to Henry (Eddie Liu) for help in her hunt for Zhilan (guest star Yvonne Chapman).

Meanwhile, as Jin (Tzi Ma) looks forward to life getting back to normal, Mei-Li (Kheng Hua Tan) isn’t as optimistic. Finally, after lending a hand to a young woman in need, Nicky finds the mental clarity she desperately needs.”

Then, next Wednesday night, June 16, 2021, The CW will air another repeat episode of Kung Fu. This one will be the 3rd episode of this season 1 titled, “Patience.”

The CW’s official description for it reads like this,”Nicky (Olivia Liang) and Henry (Eddie Liu) follow a lead involving a professor who may be able to help in their search for Zhilan (guest star Yvonne Chapman).

Meanwhile, as Althea’s (Shannon Dang) past comes back to haunt her, a squabble between Jin (Tzi Ma) and Mei-Li (Kheng Hua Tan) points to bigger issues in their marriage. Elsewhere, Nicky steps in to help a young worker after learning of some suspicious activity happening at King Kwong’s garment factory.”

If any of you guys are up for watching a couple of Kung Fu repeat episodes, you might still want to flip on The CW ,tonight, and next week as you normally would during that time.

If you don’t want to see anything but the next, new episode 9 of Kung Fu season 1, you will definitely want to abandon The CW until the June 23, 2021 date rolls around.

Spoiler Warning: For those of you who are interested, we did track down some new spoiler scoops for the next, new episode 9 of Kung Fu’s current season 1 via The CW’s official episode 9 press release. So, we’re going to go over those right now.

First off, The CW revealed that this new episode 9 is officially titled, “Isolation.” It sounds like episode 9 will feature some very interesting, adventurous, possible dramatic, emotional and action-filled scenes.

The CW’s official description for episode 9 reads like this, “To learn more about her family history, Nicky (Olivia Liang) follows a lead that brings her, Henry (Eddie Liu) and Evan (Gavin Stenhouse) to a quiet town in Canada. Zhilan (guest star Yvonne Chapman) joins forces with Kerwin Tan (guest star Ludi Lin), and Jin (Tzi Ma) and Mei-Li (Kheng Hua Tan) find themselves at a crossroads.”

Episode 9 will also feature Jon Prasida as character Ryan Shen, Vanessa Kai as character Pei-Ling Zhang and Tony Chung as character Dennis Soong. Episode 9 was directed by Geoff Shotz, and it was written by Dan Hamamura.

Again, The CW confirmed that the next, new episode 9 of Kung Fu’s current premiere season 1 is scheduled to finally show up on Wednesday night, June 23, 2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time. Every episode of KUNG FU will be available to stream on The CW App and CWTV.com the day after broadcast for free and without a subscription.
