New SWAT Season 5 Spoilers For October 15, 2021 Episode 3 Revealed

Hey, “S.W.A.T.” fans. We hope you guys like what episode 2 brought to the table. Now that it’s a wrap, we are back on here to tell you what is on the menu in the next, new episode 3 of SWAT’s current season 5, which is due to debut next Friday night, October 15, 2021.

We were able to track down a couple of new, official spoiler scoops for the new episode 3 via CBS’ official episode 3 press release. So, we’re going to dig into those right now and see what they’re all about.

First thing’s first. CBS’ press release let us know that this new episode 3 is officially titled, “27 David.” It sounds like episode 3 will feature some very intense, dramatic, interesting, scandalous, action-filled and suspenseful scenes as a robbery crew attacks a Los Angeles library! The SWAT crew gets a new leader who is an LAPD veteran and more.

We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the robbery situation. Yep, it turns out that much drama will be taking place in this episode because a robbery crew will be on the scene. This robbery crew is going to hold up an iconic, Los Angeles library at some point to steal some architectural drawings!

This terrible event will, of course, spark up an investigation by the SWAT crew. During their investigation, the SWAT team will learn that the stolen architectural drawings could possibly lead to a huge threat against the city.

CBS’ official description for this robbery situation reads like this, “When a robbery crew holds up the iconic downtown Los Angeles library, the team discovers that stolen architectural drawings could lead to a major threat against the city.”

The second spoiler scoop reveals that the SWAT crew is going to be thoroughly shocked in this episode because they’re going to get a new leader, and this new leader will be none other than LAPD veteran and former SWAT member Rodrigo Sanchez.

CBS’ description for this new SWAT leader scenario reads like this, “The squad is surprised by the arrival of a new leader, longtime LAPD veteran and former S.W.A.T. member Rodrigo Sanchez (David DeSantos).

An alternate description reads like this, “AS THE TEAM TAKES ON A CUNNING ROBBERY CREW, THEY’RE SURPRISED BY THE ARRIVAL OF A NEW LEADER.”

Epiode 3 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Jeff Torres as character (Garett), Courtney Dietz as character (Pipa), Johnny D’Esposito as character (Brock), Chase Anderson as character (Dale), Scott Rosendall as character (Longmire), Conrad Haynes as character (Tatum), Annie Tedesco as character (Renee), Loanne Bishop as character (Annabeth), Eddie Blackwell as character (Riley) and Michelle Haro as character (Walters).

Episode 3 will feature one recurring star. That person is: Obba Babatundé as character (Daniel Harrelson, Sr.) and David DeSantos as character (Rodrigo Sanchez).

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 3 are: Shemar Moore as character (Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson), Alex Russell as character (Jim Street), Jay Harrington as character (David “Deacon” Kay), Lina Esco as character (Christina “Chris” Alonso), Kenny Johnson as character (Dominique Luca), David Lim as character (Victor Tan) and Patrick St. Esprit as character (Commander Robert Hicks).

Episode 3 was written by Nathan Jackson, and it was directed by Alex Graves.

CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 3 of SWAT’s current season 5 is indeed scheduled to hit the airwaves next Friday night, October 15, 2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time. It will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
