Tough As Nails October 13, 2021 Eliminated Kalimba Edwards From Individual Competitions (Recap)

Hey, “Tough As Nails” fans. Tonight, October 13, 2021, another new episode of Tough As Nails season 3 did indeed air, and one of the contestants did get eliminated from individual competitions,

Tonight’s episode kicked off with the new team challenge. During it, they had to fix six ski lift chairs. They brought on two guys named Lars and Tommy to verify if the contestants fixed the chairs correctly.

The Dirty Hands team chose Christine to be their crew boss for this challenge. Meanwhile, the Savage Crew chose Elizabeth to be their crew boss for this challenge. During this challenge, the Savage Crew ran into problems with some of the boards. They got mixed up or something according to Elizabeth.

The Dirty Hands crew eventually won this team challenge. So, the number of team wins is now tied 1-1. The team to get five wins first, wins $60,000 dollars. The Dirty Hands crew won $12,000 dollars for this particular challenge.

Sarah of the Savage crew team told the private cams of their loss, “I think we got a little too cocky. I think we were lacking attention to detail.”

Next up, was the individual competition. During it, they had to fix a section of avalanche fence. They were separated in to two heats of six. During the first heat, Quincy finished in first place, and Kelsey finished last. So, Kelsey had to go into overtime.

In the second heat,Hanger finished in first place. Alfie finished second followed by Lia and Sarah. Kalimba end up finishing last. So , Kalimba had to go into overtime against Kelsey.

It was revealed that Hanger won the entire, individual challenge with the fastest time of 23:42 to Quincy’s 23:57. Hanger won some electric power tools worth over $12,000 dollars for this individual comp win.

During the overtime challenge, Kelsey and Kalimba had to replace 9, clogged nozzles on two snow machines. The one who did it first, won.

Kelsey got through it real quick to claim the victory over Kalimba. So, Kalimba was the unlucky contestant that got eliminated from the individual competitions in this episode, which means her shot at winning the grand prize of $200,000 dollars is out the window, but she can still win some extra dough in the team competitions.
