Hey, “The Resident” fans. Unfortunately, we are on here ,today, with some bad news for you guys. It turns out that FOX will not be airing the next, new episode 6 of The Resident’s current season 5 tonight, October 26, 2021. That’s right, guys. Your favorite FOX, medical drama will be MIA (missing in action) tonight.

The good news is that FOX does plan to air the new episode 6 next Tuesday night, November 2, 2021 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot. However, this date does come with a caveat.

Apparently, FOX is delaying the airing of The Resident, tonight, due to their LIVE coverage of the 2021 Major League Baseball World Series. It will be the Atlanta Braves versus the Houston Astros in a best 4 out of 7 games series, meaning the first team to win 4 games wins the World series title.

FOX is telling us that if this series has to go to a game 6, The Resident will be preempted/delayed again next Tuesday night, November 2, 2021. If this series doesn’t need to go to a game 6, The Resident will air next Tuesday night.

Tonight, is game one of this series. FOX’s official description for it reads like this, “The Braves compete in their first World Series since 1999 as they visit the Astros for Game 1. Atlanta’s Charlie Morton will pitch in his third Fall Classic in five years. Morton won the Series with Houston in 2017 and lost with Tampa Bay in 2020.”

If The Resident is delayed again next Tuesday night, we can tell you for sure that it will be back in action on Tuesday night, November 9, 2021.

If any of you guys happen to be pro baseball fans, you might still want to tune in to FOX, tonight, to catch their LIVE coverage of the 2021, Major League Baseball World Series.

If you are not a pro baseball fan and only want to see the next, new episode 6 of The Resident’s current season 5, you will definitely want to make other plans for tonight as soon as possible.

To start, FOX’s episode 6 press release has informed us that this new episode 6 of The Resident’s current season 5 is officially labeled/titled, “Ask Your Doctor.” It sounds like episode 6 will feature some very interesting, intense, dramatic and possible emotional scenes.

FOX’s official description for episode 6 tells us, “Conrad brings a patient into the hospital who causes a high security crisis. An MMA brawl sends a well-known fighter to Chastain and all hands are on deck. Meanwhile, Bell and Raptor vie for the same position at the hospital, and Leela gets a visit from her sister.”

An alternate description reads like this,”IT’S AN ALL-NEW WORLD AT CHASTAIN ON AN ALL-NEW “THE RESIDENT.”

Episode 6 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Michael Hogan as character Dr. Albert Nolan; Tasso Feldman as character Irving Feldman; Denitra Isler as character Ellen Hundley; Jessica Miesel as character Jessica Moore; Vince Foster as character Dr. Paul Chu; Christopher Redman as character Jackson Tellenbaum.

Guest stars continued: Paula Andrea as character Tamiko Rodriguez; Aneesha Joshi as character Padma Devi; Remington Blaire Evans as character Gigi; Selah Kimbro Jones as character Little Girl/ Ella; Aaron Gillespie as character Security Guard; Nasir Rahim as character Police Officer Carr; Troy Faruk as character Camera Man and Koral Michaels as character Grateful Woman.

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 6 are: Matt Czuchry as character Conrad Hawkins; Bruce Greenwood as character Dr. Randolph Bell; Manish Dayal as character Devon Pravesh; Malcolm-Jamal Warner as character Dr. AJ Austin; Jane Leeves as character Dr. Kit Voss; Morris Chestnut as character Dr. Barrett Cain; Jessica Lucas as character Billie Sutton and Anuja Joshi as character Dr. Leela Devi.

FOX’s press release confirmed that the next, new episode 6 of The Resident’s current season 5 is scheduled to finally hit the airwaves next Tuesday night, November 2, 2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
