Chicago PD Season 9, November 17, 2021 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing For a While
Hey, “Chicago PD” fans. We unfortunately have some super bad news for you guys in this article. It turns out that new episodes of Chicago PD are in the midst of being delayed for 3, whole weeks! That’s right, guys. That means NBC will not be airing the next, new episode 9 of Chicago PD’s current season 9 tonight, November 17, 2021, Wednesday night, November 24,2021 and Wednesday night, December 1, 2021.
NBC has confirmed that they do plan to air the next, new episode 9 on Wednesday night, December 8, 2021 in its usual 9 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to mark down that very important date and time on your TV show calendars.
We did track down what NBC is airing instead of the next, new episode 9 of Chicago PD’s current season 9 tonight and next week. According to the TV Guide listings, NBC is going to serve up a rerun of Chicago PD tonight. It will be the first episode of this season 9 titled, “CLOSURE.”
NBC’s description for it reads like this, “When a P.D. informant is murdered, the team digs in to track down the perpetrator only to learn a shocking truth. Voight and Ruzek strategize to help Burgess.”
Then, next Wednesday night, November 24, 2021, NBC is going to air a special, Saturday Night Live episode titled, “A Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving.” NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “The iconic late-night program will highlight memorable Thanksgiving-themed sketches from its 47 seasons.”
As for the Wednesday night, December 1, 2021 date, we don’t currently have any information for it. You’ll have to check your local listings to see what NBC’s line up will be for that night.
If any of you guys find this alternative programming that NBC has cooked up for this 3-week delay, you might still want to flip on NBC during it. If you definitely just want the next, new episode 9 of Chicago PD’s current season 9, you will most certainly want to find some other plans for Wednesday nights until the December 8, 2021 date rolls around.
As for the next, new episode 9 of Chicago Med’s current season 9, we weren’t able to find any promotional materials for it. So, we don’t currently have any info for it. The only thing we were able to track down was an official title. It’s called, “A Way Out.”
Again, NBC confirmed that the next, new episode 9 of Chicago Med’s current season 9 is scheduled to finally make its way to the air on Wednesday night, December 8, 2021 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
