Tough As Nails December 1, 2021 Eliminated Mike Shaffer From Individual Competitions (Recap)

Hey, “Tough As Nails” fans. Tonight, December 1, 2021, another new episode of Tough As Nails season 3 did indeed air, and another unlucky contestant got eliminated from the individual competitions thus shattering their dreams of getting that grand price of $200,000 dollars and a new, Ford F-150 truck.

Tonight’s episode kicked off with the last team challenge of this season. For it, each member from each team went head-to-head against each other in challenges that involved them having to undo chains on a bike and throwing the bike into a scrap bin, break concrete with a sledge hammer and throw the pieces into cage to weigh down a scale and grind off the end of a pipe with a grinder. For each win, they collected a stake. The first team to collect 5 stakes, won.

Mike went up against Quincey in the break concrete and weight challenge. Quincey won for the Dirty Hands team. Kalimba competed against Sarah in the bike chains challenge. Sarah won for the Savage Crew team. Kelsey competed against Lia in the grinder challenge. Lia won for the Dirty Hands team.

Elizabeth competed against Christine in all three challenges for an extra 2 stakes. Elizabeth won the 2 stakes for the Savage Crew team. Jerome competed against Hanger in the grinding pipe challenge, and Jerome won for the Dirty Hands team.

Tak competed against Alfie in the bike chains challenge, and Alfie won for Savage Crew team. Lastly, Elizabeth competed against Kalimba in the break concrete and weight challenge. Elizabeth won it for the Savage Crew team. That win gave the Savage Crew team their 5th stake to claim the final team challenge and the $12,000 dollar prize.

Next, was the individual challenge. For it, they had to repair 10 wooden pallets. During it, they smashed the old boards that were cracked or broken. Then, they replaced those with new boards using hammers and nails. Elizabeth had a really damaged pallet on her first pallet, which caused her to fall behind, but she caught back up after that. Lia ran into trouble with one of her pallets. Quincey’s nail got jammed on one of them.

In the end, Elizabeth finished first for the individual challenge win. Jerome took 2nd place. Quincey took 3rd place. So, Mike and Lia were last and had to do the overtime challenge to keep their life in the individual challenges.

During the Overtime challenge, Jerome and Quincey had to build a rocking chair. During the challenge, Lia broke a couple chair dows at one point, which caused her to fall behind. Mike broke a chair dow too, allowing Lia to catch up and pass him for the win. So, Mike got eliminated from the individual comps. That means Elizabeth, Lia, Jerome and Quincey are going to battle it out in next week’s finale episode.
