The Resident Season 5, December 14, 2021 Episode 11 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “The Resident” fans. Unfortunately, we’re back on here to break some bad news to you. Apparently, the last episode 10, which aired last Tuesday night, December 7, 2021, was indeed the Fall finale episode. That means FOX will not be airing the next, new episode 11 of The Resident’s current season 5 tonight, December 14, 2021.
What’s worse is that ,tonight, isn’t the only night it’s getting delayed. We have official word from the folks over at FOX that they don’t plan to air the new episode 11 until Tuesday night, February 1, 2022. It will keep its same 7 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to make a heavy, mental note of that very important date and time.
We did take a look at what FOX will be airing instead of the next, new episode 11 of The Resident’s current season 5 tonight. According to the TV guide listings, FOX is going to air a new holiday special called, “I Can See Your Voice Holiday Spectacular: Debbie Gibson, Nicole Byer, Paula Abdul, Cheryl Hines, Adrienne Houghton.”
FOX’s official description for it reads like this, “Celebrity panelists Paula Abdul and Nicole Byer, and singer Debbie Gibson help one contestant tell the difference between good and bad singers without ever hearing them sing a note.”
Then, next Tuesday night, December 21, 2021, FOX is going to air new episodes of Fantasy Island. It will be the 9th and 10th episodes of its season 1. They’re titled, “Welcome to the Snow Globe Part One; Welcome to the Snow Globe Part Two.”
FOX’s official description for it reads like this, “A businesswoman’s fantasy of a perfect Christmas and to meet “Mr. Right” tests Roarke in unexpected ways. Meanwhile, Mr. Jones faces his past while a new Secret Santa tradition has Ruby and Javier looking to the future.”
After the December 21, 2021 date, you’ll need to check your local listings to see what FOX will be airing on Tuesday nights.
If any of you guys have any interest in watching this alternate line of programming, you might still want to watch FOX as you normally would on Tuesday nights. If you don’t want to watch this alternate programming, you will definitely want to get something else scheduled until the February 1, 2022 date gets here.
The Resident’s current season 5 is currently averaging 3.079 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.45 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 10, which aired last Tuesday night, December 7, 2021, drew in 3.024 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.40 ratings score.
Again, FOX confirmed that the next, new episode 11 of The Resident’s current season 5 is indeed scheduled to hit the airwaves on Tuesday night, February 1, 2022 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
