The Bachelorette December 14, 2021 Eliminated Joe Coleman (Recap)

Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. Tonight, December 14, 2021, another new episode of The Bachelorette 2021 edition with headliner Michelle Young did indeed air, and another unlucky guy did get his heart broken at the end.

Tonight’s episode kicked off with Michelle revealing that she is now in Mexico for the overnight dates edition. Michelle talked with co-host Kaitlyn Bristowe about how she feels about her final, three guys: Brandon, Nayte and Joe.

In regards to Brandon, Michelle said, “Me and Brandon have an incredible connection. There are no concerns with him.” In regards to Joe, Michelle said, “Me and Joe have a lot in common. I hope we continue to progress in the overnight date.”

In regards to Nayte, Michelle said, “Nayte caught my eye right away. He has so much depth. I want to hear him say, ‘I’m in love with you.'” Kaitlyn told Michelle, “Really pay attention to those fears with Nayte because I wish I would’ve done that a little more during my season.”

The other co-host Tayshia Adams greeted the guys and told them to totally let go of anything that’s holding them back and be totally open with Michelle on the fantasy suite dates. Then, Brandon got the first date card.

Michelle greeted Brandon with a huge hug and kiss. Then, they went horseback riding. Michelle told the private cams, “Brandon and I have so much fun together. This guy is the real deal. He’s someone I can see being my best friend, which is one of the most important things I look for in a soul mate.”

Michelle and Brandon talked and said the hometown date went well. Michelle told Brandon, “You are one of a kind. I recognize that,” and they kissed. Brandon told the private cams, “As much as me and Michelle connected, I still wonder if I’m enough.”

During the second half of Michelle and Brandon’s date, Michelle greeted Brandon with another hug and kiss. Brandon told Michelle, “I don’t want to be with anyone other than you. I want you to know I’m truly in love with you. I’m so sick of keeping it in. I will always put you first. I’m not going to leave here without telling you that.”

Michelle said, “My heart is beating so fast right now. I am falling in love with you, and I don’t take those words lightly. I’ve never met someone make my heart feel so safe,” and they kissed. Michelle told the private cams, “Brandon is soul mate material, and we have a burning spark. That’s what makes me be able to see a future with him.” Michelle gave Brandon the Fantasy suite card. Then, they kissed in the pool while fireworks went off.

We saw footage of Brandon and Michelle kissing in bed the next morning. They said more sweet things to each other and kissed some more. They also got playful and had a food fight at one point.

Next, it was time for Joe’s 1 on 1 date with Michelle. Michelle greeted Joe with a big hug and kiss. Michelle told the private cams, “As soon as I saw Joe, it put a smile on my face.” They ended up going ziplining.

Michelle told the private cams, “Ziplining with Joe was so much fun. He’s way more vocal than I thought he would be.” Michelle told Joe, “You are pretty goofy and open. I’m surprised.” Joe said, “You helped me open up, which isn’t easy. It’s because of the great chemistry between us,” and they kissed.

During the second half of Joe and Michelle’s date, they did some more talking. Michelle told Joe that she likes how they think alike. Joe said, “I think we could be a really powerful couple,” and they kissed. Michelle told Joe, “I always feel connected to you, but this time, it was on a different level.” Then, she gave Joe the fantasy suite card. They agreed to go, and they kissed some more.

We saw footage of Joe and Michelle kissing in bed. Michelle told Joe, “Thanks for continuing to be vulnerable with me. I know it’s not easy. Waking up next to you is definitely something I could get used to,” and they kissed. Joe made her breakfast at one point.

Michelle told Joe, “I hope you know how much I care about you. I could see a future with you” and they kissed again. Michelle told the private cams, “My decision is even harder than it already was.”

Last, but not least, it was Nayte’s turn. Michelle greeted Nayte with a huge hug and kiss. Then, they got on a boat to go sailing. They appeared to have a really great time kissing. They also took turns steering the boat and putting up the sails.

At one point, Nayte told Michelle, “I am crazy about you. You are something else. I really like the little subtle things about you. I just can’t get enough of this.” Michelle told the private cams, “I really like Nayte. The biggest thing I need to hear is that he loves me. If we can’t get there, I will be incredibly heart-broken.”

During the second half of Michelle and Nayte’s date, Michelle expressed concerns of Nayte possibly pulling away or getting cold feet because of what his stepfather told Michelle. Nayte told Michelle, “Relationships are something I take really seriously. I don’t play around with that.

I have feelings for you that I’ve never had before. I’m ready to fall in love with you and be engaged to you. I feel like I could definitely get there. I don’t think I would ever pull away. This is very real for me,” and they kissed. Michelle told the private cams, “Nayte gave me clarity. Any feelings of doubt have been resolved.” Eventually, Nayte and Michelle did go to the fantasy suite.

We saw footage of Nayte and Michelle in bed the next morning. Nayte told Michelle, “I’m falling in love with you.” Michelle said, “Me too,” and they kissed. Nayte told the private cams, “The relationship got so much stronger. I feel so good right now.” Michelle told the private cams, “I’m in love with this man.”

Brandon was seen telling Joe and Nayte he’s feeling a little nervous since Michelle had a great time on all of the dates. Joe told the private cams, “I feel really happy with where me and Michelle are.” Nayte told the private cams, “I think Michelle is still feeling the energy from our date. So, I feel good going into this rose ceremony.”

During the rose ceremony, Brandon asked Michelle, “Can I talk to you?” During their conversation, Brandon told Michelle, “This is your most important decision. Michelle, I really meant it when I said I will always be there for you,” and so on and so forth. It seemed like Brandon was feeling a little insecure and wanted to throw in a last ditch attempt to remind Michelle of their connection.

After all of that, they started up the rose ceremony again, and Michelle ended up giving Nayte and Brandon a rose. That meant poor Joe was indeed the unlucky guy that got eliminated in this episode. Michelle walked Joe out and told him, “I’m sorry. I have been falling in love with you. I know how much you pushed yourself to open up. You have a piece of my heart. You always will.”

Joe said, “As much as it hurts, I know it hurts you too. I want to thank you for pushing me to be more vulnerable and being the best person I can possibly be.” Then, they hugged goodbye.

Joe told the private cams, “That was shocking. I really thought she was my person. I just wanna go home.” Awww. And that was the show, guys. Next week’s new episode will be the finale episode, and we’re going to finally find out who Michelle picks to be her future husband.

The next, new, finale episode of The Bachelorette 2021 edition with headliner Michelle Young is scheduled to air next Tuesday night, December 21, 2021 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on ABC. It will be a huge, 3-hour episode.
