SWAT Season 5, January 16, 2022 Episode 11 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “S.W.A.T.” fans. Unfortunately, we had to jump on here, today, with some very unfortunate news for you guys. For some unknown reason, CBS will not be airing the next, new episode 11 of SWAT’s current season 5 tonight, January 16, 2022.

On the flip side, this delay is just for this week. CBS revealed that they do plan to air the new episode 11 next Sunday night, January 23, 2022 in its usual, 9 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to jot down that very important date and time on your TV show calendars or just commit it to memory.

So, what is CBS airing instead of the next, new episode 11 of SWAT’s current season 5 tonight? Well, according to the TV guide listings, CBS has a repeat episode of SWAT that they want to show you. It is the very first, premiere episode 1 of its current season 5 titled, “Vagabundo.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “In the aftermath of his decision to speak out in the press, Hondo retreats to a quiet town in Mexico to reassess his life and professional future, only to find himself reluctantly drawn into one local family’s fight for justice.”

If any of you are down for watching this particular rerun of SWAT, you might still want to flip on CBS tonight to check it out.

If you won’t settle for anything less than the next, new episode 11 of SWAT’s current season 5, you will most certainly want to get something else lined up for tonight at your earliest convenience.

Spoiler Warning: If any of you guys like reading spoiler scoops, you’re in luck because we were able to get our hands on a few, new official teaser descriptions for the next, new episode 11 of SWAT’s current season 5. So, let’s go ahead and take a look at those.

First thing’s first. CBS revealed that this new, episode 11 has been given an official title. It’s called, “Old School Cool.” It sounds like episode 11 will feature some very intense, dramatic, action-filled, interesting, suspenseful and possible emotional scenes.

CBS’ official description for episode 11 tells us, “Hondo and the team race to locate the hacker responsible for accessing LAPD’s computers and revealing the identities of undercover officers before the leaked intelligence has fatal consequences. Also, Street is forced to reckon with past misdeeds on the CBS Original series S.W.A.T.”

An alternate description reads like this, “THE SWAT TEAM RACES TO LOCATE A DANGEROUS HACKER WHO IS COMPROMISING THE IDENTITIES OF UNDERCOVER OFFICERS.”

Episode 11 will surprisingly have no guest stars. The season regulars that will be feature in episode 11 are: Shemar Moore as character (Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson), Alex Russell as character (Jim Street), Jay Harrington as character (David “Deacon” Kay), Lina Esco as character (Christina “Chris” Alonso), Kenny Johnson as character (Dominique Luca), David Lim as character (Victor Tan) and Patrick St. Esprit as character (Commander Robert Hicks).

Episode 11 was written by Amelia Sims, and it was directed by Paul Bernard.

Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 11 of SWAT’s current season 5 is scheduled to finally hit the airwaves next Sunday night, January 23, 2022 at approximately 9 pm central standard time. It will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.

    A shame how producers have messed with S.W.A.T.
    show us one week and not next…one of most popular series on right now and they had to move it to Sunday so any sporting game or special showing kicked SWAT off schedule.
