Hey, “The Equalizer” fans. Unfortunately, it’s one of those times again. We are back on here to deliver some really bad news. It turns out that your favorite show The Equalizer is in the midst of a pretty long delay right now. That means CBS will not be airing the next, new episode 10 of The Equalizer’s current season 2 tonight, January 16, 2022.

That’s right, guys. The Equalizer is going to be MIA not just tonight, but for many more Sunday nights to come. CBS has informed us that they don’t currently plan to air the new episode 10 until Sunday night, February 27, 2022 in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to memorize that very important date and time or just write it down on something.

We did find out what CBS will be airing in place of the next, new episode 10 of The Equalizer’s current season 2 for the next, 3 weeks. Tonight, CBS is going to air a repeat episode of The Equalizer. It will be the first episode of this season 2 titled, “Aftermath.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Just as McCall considers ending her work as The Equalizer, she’s pulled back in when she takes on Detective Marcus Dante as a new client who needs her help to find an untraceable group of bank robbers.”

Then, next Sunday night, January 23, 2022, CBS will air a new episode of NCIS: Los Angeles. It will be the 9th episode of its current 13th season titled, “Under the Influence.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “The NCIS team helps a U.S. ambassador search for her missing daughter. Agent Aliyah De León returns to support the team with the case.”

On Sunday night, January 30, 2022, CBS will air another repeat episode of The Equalizer. It will be the 2nd episode of this season 2 titled, “The Kingdom.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “McCall finds herself in the crosshairs of a foreign government’s intelligence agency when her friend Mira (Melis Aker), a diplomat’s daughter, seeks McCall’s help to find her missing brother. Also, Dante faces suspicion from a fellow detective newly tasked by the district attorney to find the vigilante known as the Equalizer.”

After the January 30, 2022 date, you guys will need to check your local listings to see what CBS has planned out for the remaining weeks of the delay period.

If any of you guys find this alternate line of programming to be desirable at all, you might still want to hit up CBS during this delay period.

If you only want to see the next, new episode 10 of The Equalizer’s current season 2, you will definitely want to make some other plans until that February 27, 2022 date gets here.

The Equalizer’s current season 2 isn’t doing too shabby with its ratings and viewership numbers. It’s currently averaging 6.903 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.64 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics.

The most recent episode 9, which aired last Sunday night, January 9, 2022, drew in 7.183 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.68 ratings score. Currently, CBS has not renewed The Equalizer for a new season 3, but with those numbers, we wouldn’t be surprised if CBS hands them a new, season 3 renewal order later this year. Cross your fingers.

Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 10 of The Equalizer’s current season 2 is scheduled to finally make its way to the air on Sunday night, February 27,2022 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
