The Bachelor February 7, 2022 Eliminated Sierra, Jill & Lyndsey (Recap)

Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. Tonight, February 7, 2022, another new episode of The Bachelor 2022 edition with headliner Clayton Echard did indeed air, and some more women got the boot.

Tonight’s episode kicked off with footage of the ladies talking about how crazy Shanae was in the last episode. They went over how she interrupted their afterparty and threw out their trophy. They called her a child.

Clayton told the private cams that he was going to address the Shanae issues at the cocktail party. In the meantime, he had a 1 on 1 date with Serene that he needed to get to.

Clayton took Serene to an amusement park. They had a real good time on the rides. She thought they had a good connection. They kissed at one point. Clayton told the private cams, “The date with Serene went great, but can we go deeper? That’s what I’m looking to see from her.”

During the second half of their date, Clayton told Serene, “This was a very thrilling day. You absolutely crushed it. I think we’re headed in the right direction.” Serene said, “I do too, but I’m not used to opening up a lot. I’ve had a lot of loss in my family. My grandmother died 2 years ago. I unexpectedly lost my cousin this year. The loss of it is really hard, but I try to focus on the good memories.”

From there, Serene talked about some good memories she had with her cousin. Clayton told Serene, “Thanks for sharing that because it helps me understand you better.” Serene said, “You have kind eyes. Thanks for listening and making me feel comfortable.” Clayton told the private cams, “Serene opened up more than I thought she would. I’m very happy that Serene is here.”

Clayton told Serene, “Thanks for opening up and letting me know more about you. I’m excited to see where this could go.” Then, Clayton gave Serene a rose, and they kissed. Serene told the private cams, “It is very much becoming real to me that Clayton could be my husband. I feel like I’m falling in love with him.”

Next, we got footage of the women confronting Shanae at the cocktail party for what she had just did on their group date. Then, Clayton showed up and asked to talk with the winning team from the group date. During their talk, the women told Clayton all about how Shanae threw their trophy in the pond along with other complaints.

Clayton said, “I didn’t know Shanae threw the trophy. That is making me have different thoughts, but I need to talk with her.” Clayton told the private cams of Shanae, “I don’t think I can keep someone around who acts like that.”

Clayton pulled Shanae for a 1 on 1 conversation. During that conversation, Shanae confessed to what she did to the girls’ trophy. Clayton told Shanae, “This is creating more turmoil in the house. I don’t want this to be a hostile environment. If it continues, I don’t know how we can move forward.”

Then, Clayton asked Shanae if she could apologize for what she did. She agreed to apologize for it. Shanae came out with tears in her eyes and apologized to the women. Some of the ladies accepted her apology. Genevieve didn’t buy it.

Shanae went back and told Clayton that she apologized ,and they kissed. Then we saw footage of Shanae telling the private cams, “That was the hardest thing I ever had to do. Apologize for something I’m not sorry for. I’m not sorry.” Then, she compared herself to Meryl Streep for her acting abilities. She said, “Give me an Emmy.”

At the Rose ceremony, Clayton gave: Sarah, Marlena, Genevieve, Mara, Gabby, Susie, Eliza, Hunter, and Shanae a rose to join Rachel, Teddi, and Serene who all received roses earlier.

That means poor: Jill, Lyndsey and Sierra didn’t get a rose. So, they had to make their exits. Shanae told the private cams, “I just sent some more girls home. Who else is next? Sorry, but not sorry, b#%tches.”

Next, Clayton and the girls went to Toronto,Canada. Once there, Clayton took Gabby out on a 1 on 1 date. They played street hockey. They went to eat some pastries, and they appeared to have a really good time. Gabby told the private cams, “I love see the goofy side of Clayton.” Clayton told Gabby, “I love your sense of humor,” and they kissed. Gabby told the private cams, “I just love to be around Clayton and being next to him.”

During the second half of their date, Gabby told Clayton, “I have a hard time receiving love. I’m great at giving it. I have a feeling of unworthiness, but I’ve worked on it a lot.” She talked about issues that she has with her mother and got teary-eyed. Apparently, Gabby doesn’t speak with her mother at the moment. She said that she might start speaking with her mother again, but she’s not their yet.

Clayton told Gabby, “I appreciate you opening up, and you do deserve love.” Then, they kissed. Clayton told the private cams, “I have this new understanding of who Gabby is. That means we’re going in the right direction.” Clayton gave Gabby a rose, and they kissed.

Next, Clayton took: Rachel, Sarah, Serene, Marlena, Susie, Hunter, Eliza, Teddi, and Mara out on a group date. On this date, host Jesse Palmer showed up followed by comedian Russell Peters. Russell didn’t waste anytime to do a couple of roasts on Jesse and Clayton. Then, Russell told the ladies, they will be roasting Clayton and themselves. A lot of the women ended up roasting Shanae even though she wasn’t on this group date.

During the afterparty, Clayton talked with Susie. She told him what she likes about him after roasting him earlier, and they kissed. Clayton talked with Marlena. Clayton told Marlena, “You have a future in stand up comedy.” Marlena said, “I give 100 percent in everything I do,” and they kissed.

Clayton talked with Rachel. Rachel said, “I feel like our relationship is going so well.” Clayton reciprocated, and they kissed. Clayton told the private cams, “I have a very strong relationship with Rachel. Our journey has been damn near perfect.”

Clayton talked with Sarah. Sarah told Clayton, “I fully trust you.” Clayton said,”Thank you for sharing that. I’m happy you feel that way.” Sarah said, “I feel good about us,” and they kissed. At the end, Clayton gave Rachel the group date rose.

After all of that, Clayton took Genevieve and Shanae on a dreaded 2 on 1 date. During this date, Clayton took Shanae and Genevieve to Niagara Falls. Shanae kept telling the private cams how Genevieve will be her next victim and how she’ll get rid of her. Then, we got hit with the “To Be Continued” message. So, we’ll have to wait and see who gets sent packing on this 2 on 1 date in next week’s new episode.

The next, new episode of The Bachelor 2022 edition with headliner Clayton Echard is scheduled to air next Monday night, February 14, 2022 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on ABC.
