The Resident Season 5, March 15, 2022 Episode 16 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “The Resident” fans. It is with great displeasure that we do have to inform you of some very bad news in this article. Apparently, the people over at FOX will not be airing the next, new episode 16 of The Resident’s current season 5 tonight, March 15, 2022. This gets worse because they’re also not going to air it next Tuesday night, March 22, 2022.

Yep, that’s right, guys. Your favorite FOX drama is in the midst of another 2-week delay. FOX did confirm that they plan to air the new episode 16 on Tuesday night, March 29, 2022 in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely make a heavy mental note of that very important date and time.

We did track down what FOX is going to air instead of the next, new episode 16 of The Resident’s current season 5 during this 2-week delay period. It turns out that FOX has a repeat episode of The Resident lined up for tonight. It will be the 12th episode of this season 5 titled, “Now You See Me.”

FOX’s official description for it reads like this, “When a lost child is brought into the ER with physical signs of abuse, Conrad and Cade try to get to the bottom of what happened to her.

While out shopping, Devon and Leela encounter a woman who is having trouble breathing, and when she arrives at the hospital, Devon takes it upon himself to make sure she feels comfortable with the staff. Meanwhile, Bell eyes an open seat on the State Medical Board and Billie decides it’s time to confront her past.”

Then, next Tuesday night, March 22, 2022, FOX will be providing LIVE coverage of the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards. It sounds like it will be a very lively event. FOX’s official description for it reads like this, “Awards honoring the year’s most popular music artists at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles; LL Cool J hosts; Jennifer Lopez receives the 2022 iHeartRadio Icon Award.”
