Hey, “The Equalizer” fans. Unfortunately, we are back on here, this time, to deliver some bad news. For some unknown reason, the folks over at CBS are not airing the next, new episode 17 of The Equalizer’s current season 2 ,tonight, May 1, 2022. Yep, that’s right, guys. It’s just not going to happen tonight.

On a more positive note, we have been informed by CBS that this particular delay is just for this week. They do intend to air the new episode 17 next Sunday night, May 8, 2022 in its usual,7 pm central standard time slot. So, definitely be sure to remember that very important date and time.

We did take a look at what CBS has lined up to replace The Equalizer tonight. According to the TV guide listings, CBS is going to air a new episode of NCIS: Los Angeles in the 7 pm central standard time slot and the 8 pm central standard time slot. Yep, they’ve got a double-header, back-to-back episode night for NCIS Los Angeles. They’re going to be airing episode 18 of its season 13 in the 7 pm central standard time slot, which is titled, “Hard for the Money.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this,”NCIS investigates the murder of a woman employed in the Navy’s missile defense program and its connection to stolen Navy missile technology. A strict social worker stresses out Deeks. Sam debates selling his boat.”

In the 8 pm central standard time slot, CBS will be airing the new NCIS Los Angeles episode 19 of season 13 titled, “Live Free or Die Standing.”

CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “The NCIS team works with Drug Enforcement Administration agent Talia Del Campo to find a missing whistleblower set to testify against gun manufacturers marketing to drug cartels.”

If any of you guys just happen to be NCIS: Los Angeles fans, you might still want to flip on CBS ,tonight, to catch this new episode. If you’re only an Equalizer fan, and you just want that latest Equalizer episode, you will most certainly want to skip CBS ,tonight, and come back next Sunday night.

Spoiler Warning: For those of you who are interested, we were able to gather up a couple of new, official teaser descriptions for the next, new episode 17 of The Equalizer’s current season 2 from CBS’ official episode 17 press release.

It let us know that this new episode 17 does have an official label/title. It’s called, “What Dreams May Come.” It sounds like episode 17 will feature some very interesting, intense, dramatic, emotional, possible action-filled and suspenseful scenes.

CBS’ official description for episode 17 tells us, “McCall, Mel and Harry take a leap of faith when they help a self-proclaimed psychic, Julien (Yusuf Gatewood), find his missing sister who he says is in imminent danger according to his visions. Also, Delilah’s PTSD returns as she struggles under the weight of keeping McCall’s secrets and her worries about her mother’s safety on the CBS Original series THE EQUALIZER.”

An alternate description reads like this, “MCCALL, MEL AND HARRY TAKE A LEAP OF FAITH WHEN THEY HELP A SELF-PROCLAIMED PSYCHIC FIND HIS MISSING SISTER WHO IS IN IMMINENT DANGER ACCORDING TO ONE OF HIS VISIONS.”

Episode 17 will feature quite a few guest stars. They are: Yusuf Gatewood as character (Julien Thibideaux), Brittany Bellizeare as character (Calista), Shirley Rumierk as character (Rosa Martinez), Roberts Jekabsons as character (Milosz Nemanjic), Ceazar Reyes as character (Carlos Vela).

Guest stars continued: Roma Mafia as character (Dr. Willa Roszak), Jay Hieron as character (Frank Castor), Ron Scott as character (Councilman Silva), Abigail Spear as character (Anjelica), Candice Myers as character (Soccer Coach), Neal Benari as character (Arieh Bitton) and Manoli Ioannidis as character (Ponytail/Deke Hartley).

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 17 are: Queen Latifah as character (Robyn McCall), Tory Kittles as character (Detective Marcus Dante), Adam Goldberg as character (Harry Keshegian), Liza Lapira as character (Melody “Mel” Bayani), Laya DeLeon Hayes as character (Delilah) and Lorraine Toussaint as character (Viola “Vi” Marsette).

Episode 17’s story is by Jordan Bringert & Rob Hanning. The teleplay is by Rob Henning, and it was directed by Millicent Shelton.

Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 17 of The Equalizer’s current season 2 is scheduled to finally arrive on your TV screens next Sunday night, May 8, 2022 at approximately 7 pm central standard time. It will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
