FBI Season 4, May 24, 2022 Finale Episode 22 Delayed. It Didn’t Air
Hey, “FBI” fans. If you guys tuned in this past Tuesday night, May 24, 2022 to catch the season 4 finale of FBI, I’m quite sure most of you guys were very disappointed to see that CBS did not air it, and ran a repeat episode instead.
According to the folks over at Deadline.com , CBS decided to pull the finale episode 22 in light of the terrible elementary school shooting that took place in Texas. Apparently, this particular episode contains a storyline that involves the FBI team preventing a school shooting. So, it apparently hit too close to home for them to air it that night.
Instead, CBS re-aired the 12th episode of this season 4 titled,”Under Pressure.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Maggie goes undercover working in a bar to investigate an anti-government group that regularly gathers there and has several members suspected in a series of bombings. The case opens old wounds for her when a single father on the periphery of the group begins to fear he’s in danger of becoming collateral damage.”
Currently, we have no idea when CBS will air the season finale episode 22 titled, “Prodigal Son.” CBS just said they will air it at a later date, which makes me think they don’t even know when they’re going to air it. So, I guess the best thing we can tell you, right now, is that CBS will finally air the season finale episode 22 when they finally figure out when they’re going to air it. For now, it’s just an episode that’s lost in time.
As we previously reported, FBI has been renewed for a brand new season 5. So, that’s a positive light on this whole thing. We’re sure CBS will get around to airing the season 4 finale episode 22 before season 5 begins this Fall 2022. So, hang in there.
