The Blacklist Season 9, May 27, 2022 Episode 22 Is The Finale. Season 10 Is Happening
Hey, “The Blacklist” fans. We hope you guys totally had a blast with what episode 22 served up ,tonight, especially since that is officially it for season 9. That’s right, guys. Tonight’s episode 22 was the season 9 finale episode. That means you will have to wait a couple of months to see more new episodes.
The good news is that more new episodes of The Blacklist are definitely on their way for the upcoming 2022/2023 season because we’ve got official confirmation that the folks over at NBC did indeed renew it for a brand new season 10! That’s right, guys. You are going to get another season of all-new episodes from your favorite show.
Currently, we’re still waiting for NBC to announce when the new season 10 will begin and how many episodes it will feature.
According to the folks over at Deadline.com, the main star of The Blacklist James Spader aka Raymond “Red” Reddington announced the renewal of The Blacklist for a new season 10 during an appearance on The Tonight Show back in February 2022. So, NBC was very confident by giving the show a pretty early renewal.
The Blacklist season 9 averaged 2.981 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.30 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The most recent episode 21, which aired last Friday night, May 20, 2022, drew in 2.700 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.23 ratings score.
The most-viewed episode was episode 7 with 3.527 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 12 with 2.628 million LIVE viewers.
The highest-rated episode was episode 7 with a 0.42 ratings score. The lowest-rated episodes were episodes 14 and 20. They both tied for last place with a 0.22 ratings score. Season 9 actually averaged 5.1 million viewers per episode, and a 0.60 ratings score if you factor in the Live+7 DVR numbers. The Blacklist is currently the 9th ranked scripted series for NBC.
