New Aquaman 2 Details For Amber Heard’s Mera Character Leaked

Hey, “Aquaman” fans. We’re on here, right now, because we’ve just dug up some new, spoilery details for the upcoming, second installment of the Aquaman franchise, which is currently scheduled to release in theaters on March 17, 2023. These new details are in regards to Amber Heard’s Mera character.

According to the folks over at Entertainment Weekly , some info about the Mera character were actually leaked out in court! That’s right, guys. As you all know, Amber just got done going through along, drawn out trial with her ex-hubby Johnny Depp over some defamation issues.

EW is reporting that an entertainment industry consultant named Kathryn Arnold took to the stand during the trial to go over the damage that Amber’s team encountered due to the claims that Johnny Depp’s attorney made. Apparently, these claims allegedly caused Amber to lose a lot of scenes in the new Aquaman 2 movie.

Amber claimed that she actually almost lost the role in the movie. When she managed to somehow keep the role, she discovered that her Mera scenes had been drastically cut! Amber stated, “They basically took a bunch out of my role, including an action sequence.” To not reveal any spoilers, Amber kept her statement very short, but Kathryn Arnold revealed a lot more during her testimony. Enough to qualify for a good round of spoilers for Amber’s Mera character.

Kathryn stated in regards to Amber’s Mera, Aquaman 2 movie role, “I believe that in the first act of the movie, she was injured somehow, or it had something to do with a baby. Mera ends up in the hospital early in this new Aquaman 2 movie and doesn’t really come out until the end to kind of wrap things up.

All the interactions with Momoa’s character, and certainly the action scenes, were taken out. Amber trained 5 hours a day for several months with the trainer to do this big action sequence, and she didn’t learn that her role shrunk until she arrived to set. So, her role was radically reduced from what it was in the script and what she even trained for while she was preparing for the movie.”

In a previous testimony, Amber’s agent Jessica Kovacevic testified that Warner Bros. claimed a “lack of chemistry” with Momoa as a reason for possibly recasting her role.

If all of Kathryn Arnold’s spoilery statements are true, it looks like we’re actually going to see a lot less of Amber Heard’s Mera character in this upcoming Aquaman 2 film. How do you guys feel about that? Let us know in the comments section.

Again, Aquaman 2 is scheduled to debut in theaters on March 17, 2023.

I will not watch that movie if she’s in it for even a second

I always go to the movie theater for ANY comic book turned movie(because I’m an old comic book nerd,) but will NOT go see Aquaman 2 just because she is still in it.

If they just killed her off, in the beginning, the movie would already be perfect then there’s no loose ends and we can carry on with the actual movie or you know… Replace her with an actress who can actually act.

will never watch anything she is cast in
