New Yellowstone Season 5 John Dutton Details Revealed By Kevin Costner & More
Hey, “Yellowstone” fans. We are right back at you with another new set of season 5 spoiler scoops. This time, they are from the main star himself Kevin Costner aka John Dutton. The folks over at Tasteofcountry.com are reporting that Kevin recently gave away some new, small teasers for the new season 5 while doing an interview at the Paramount upfronts in the big apple New York City, which took place back in May 2022.
Apparently, Kevin is really happy with the season 5 scripts he’s gotten to take a look at. The script is really on par with the first four seasons. He stated,”The foot is still down on the gas pedal. It’s holding up the way the first four seasons did. So, I was really happy about that.
I feel like we’re going in the right direction. It’s not so easy to catch a high point. It’s not so easy to stay there, and I think the writing is really staying at a level that’s important.”
Also, according to a new article from the folks over Express.co.uk , they discovered some clues from some behind-the-scenes, season 5 photos and clips that suggest that John Dutton is indeed the new Governor of Montana.
Fans on social media are very convinced that these behind-the-scenes pics and clips feature the swearing in of John as the new Governor of Montana. They’ve also hit up Reddit with comments like, “Looks like the Governor’s race is settled.”
One of the fans wrote, “I think you’re right. At first, I thought it was a campaign event but then I noticed what appears to be a judge. Now, I think it was a swearing in ceremony.”
Another fan wrote, “In the second pic, it looks like the judge is holding a book with both hands. You know like how you’d hold it for somebody if they were being sworn in.”
After that, another fan chimed in saying, “If you pause and zoom at one point you can literally see Costner’s hand on the bible and his right go up to take the oath of office.”
Again, all of this is just speculation right now. Nothing is confirmed. We’ll have to wait until the new season 5 starts up to know for sure, or at least until we get the first, official promo clip.
Again, the new season 5 is scheduled to premiere on Sunday night, November 13, 2022 on Paramount Network.
