So You Think You Can Dance July 6, 2022 Episode 8 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “So You Think You Can Dance” fans. Unfortunately, we’ve got some really bad news for you guys tonight. For some unknown reason, The FOX people are not going to air the next, new episode 8 of So You Think You Can Dance’s current season 17 tonight, July 6, 2022. That’s right, guys. The dancing has been shelved tonight. Well, sort of.
We do have word from the TV guide listings that FOX is still going to air So You Think You Can Dance tonight. However, it will just be a repeat episode. They’re going to re-air the 5th episode of this season 17 titled, “The Dancers Dozen.”
FOX’s official description for it reads like this, “The top 12 dancers compete in pairs, showcasing their talents in various dance styles including contemporary, tap, hip-hop, ballroom, animation, breaking and more.”
If any of you guys are down for watching this rerun of So You Think You Can Dance, you might still want to hit up FOX ,tonight, as you normally would during that time. If reruns aren’t your cup of tea, you will definitely want to skip FOX tonight.
As for the next, new episode 8, you guys won’t have to wait long to see it as FOX has confirmed that they plan to air it next Wednesday night, July 13, 2022 in its usual, 8 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly make sure to not forget that very important date and time.
FOX did serve up an official press release for the next, new episode 8 of “So You Think You Can Dance.” It’s titled, “Turn Back Time.” You guys can expect to see the top 8 dancers serve up a solo performance along with more partner routines in the new episode 8.
FOX’s official description for episode 8 reads like this, “The top four dancers from last week pick their partners and dance in random genres. All eight dancers showcase their talents in solo rounds to win over the audience and the judges. Two dancers face elimination and only six remain.”
Again, FOX confirmed that the next, new episode 8 of So You Think You Can Dance’s current season 17 is scheduled to finally show up next Wednesday night, July 13, 2022 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.

There’s a lot of chaos and tragedy in the world right now. It would be nice if a non-political entertainment show could be consistent in airing in this time of chaos. During WWII, Shirley Temple and lovely dance movies kept my grandparents happy and hopeful for the future. Please realize how important your show is to helping others.
