New Grey’s Anatomy Season 19 Is Bringing On A New Female Surgeon As Series Regular
Hey, “Grey’s Anatomy” fans. We’ve got some new casting details for the upcoming Grey’s Anatomy season 19 to run by you guys. According to the folks over at Deadline.com , the show has hired actress Alexis Floyd (above) to come on and portray a character named Simone Griffin.
Simone is described as being a new, first-year surgical resident at Grey Sloan. She’s funny, whip smart and a high achiever with a complicated family dynamic. She grew up in Seattle. However, she never wanted to work at Grey Sloan because she has some very painful, personal memories associated with Grey Sloan.
Simone won’t just be showing up part time either. They’ve brought her on to be a series regular on the show. So, you guys will definitely be seeing quite a bit of her during this new season 19.
Some of Alexis Floyd’s past acting credits includes appearances in a TV mini series called, “Inventing Anna.” A TV series titled, “Way Down.” A TV series called, “The Bold Type.” A TV series called,”Boy Shorts.” A TV series called, “Dickinson.” A TV series called, “The Good Fight.” She also appeared in some shorts and other productions. As previously reported, you guys can expect to see the new season 19 of Grey’s Anatomy make its big debut on Thursday night, October 6, 2022 at approximately 8 pm central standard time on ABC.
