The Bachelorette August 1, 2022 Eliminated Jordan, Quincey, Kirk & Hayden (Recap)

Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. Tonight, August 1, 2022, another new episode of The Bachelorette 2022 edition with headliners Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey did hit the air, and some more guys were sent out the door at the end.

Tonight’s episode kicked off with the guys talking. Hayden admitted that he told Gabby she was rough around the edges. A lot of the guys didn’t like that, and they told him, “That’s kind of rough, bro.” After all of that, host Jesse Palmer came in and told the guys that they’re headed to France to join Gabby and Rachel.

Gabby and Rachel were seen talking with each other. Rachel told Gabby, “That was my lowest moment to have three guys reject my rose at the last rose ceremony.” Rachel told the private cams, “It was the most embarrassing moment that’s ever happened to me.”

Next, we got footage of Jason and Gabby’s 1 on 1 date. They took a walk around Paris. Gabby told the private cams that she wanted Jason to break out of his shell a little bit more. They ended up going to get drinks. At one point, they were seen going on a merry-go-round ride and kissing. They appeared to have a great time. However, Gabby told the private cams, “I do need Jason to open up a little more to me.”

During the second half of their date, Jason and Gabby talked more in depth. Jason talked about the insecurities he had as child. Gabby talked about her not-so-great relationship with her estranged mother. They both said they got therapy to deal with their issues.

Gabby told Jason, “I appreciate a man who likes therapy. This is so good,” and they kissed. Gabby told the private cams, “It feels good that Jason is on the same life path as me. I see a lot of myself in Jason.” Gabby gave Jason a rose, and they kissed again.

Next up was Tino and Rachel’s 1 on 1 date footage. They also took a walk around Paris. They helped make a meal at a restaurant at one point, and they appeared to have a lot of fun as they kissed. They took photos together in the Paris streets. They went and had drinks and talked. At one point, Tino told Rachel that she’s charming, and they kissed some more.

Rachel told the private cams, “Kissing Tino in the rain got me excited again. I really don’t want this date to end at all. It feels like a fairytale. I’m feeling strong feelings for him, and I don’t know how to handle them.”

During the second half of their date, Rachel and Tino talked about the last rose ceremony and how tough that was for Rachel. Rachel also explained how important her career is to her. Tino said he totally understands and wants to be supportive of it. They both agreed that they really want to get married and have a family. Rachel told Tino, “I really like you.” Tino said, “I wouldn’t keep accepting roses from you if I didn’t think we could make this work.” Rachel gave him a rose, and they kissed.

After the 1 on 1 dates wrapped up, it was time for the group dates. Gabby took her guys: Nate, Kirk, Quincey, Erich, Michael, Mario, Spencer and Johnny to compete against each other in boxing matches. At one point, Nate and Gabby talked 1 on 1, and they ended up kissing.

Rachel showed up to Gabby’s date with some of her guys to watch the guys on Gabby’s group date compete in their boxing matches. At one point, Rachel got real upset about her guys. She told the private cams how she was so upset that none of her guys tried to talk to her while Gabby’s guys were boxing. She was literally in tears saying, “I’m so done. I’m not here to beg these guys to act like they want me. I’m so over feeling like this. Clayton actually made me feel more wanted on his season.”

Later on, Rachel went out and confronted her guys with how she feels. She told them, “My feelings were hurt, and I was just upstairs crying about it. You need to take advantage of every moment you can get with me.” Then, she walked off.

Meanwhile, Spencer won the boxing matches on Gabby’s group date, and they went to have a private dinner together. During it, we caught glimpses of them talking and kissing. Gabby also gave Spencer a rose.

Next up was Rachel’s group date with: Ethan, Meatball aka James, Logan, Zach, Tyler, Jordan H and Aven. They took part in a flirting contest to start things off. Then, things got really weird. They did an armpit smelling contest where Rachel smelled their arm pits while blindfolded. They did a contest to see who could french kiss their fists the best. Then, things got a little bit back to normal with a love-note writing contest.

At this point, Logan dropped some really bad news to the private cams saying, “I didn’t feel a strong connection with Rachel during this group date, and I walked away thinking about Gabby.” Uh oh.

Meanwhile, Rachel chose to have some 1 on 1 time with Tyler after the group date. During it, they had drinks and talked. Tyler told her about how his past relationship didn’t work out. He also told her, “I want to be there for somebody and be their rock,” and they kissed. Rachel told the private cams, “Tyler really did make me realize this process is working for me.” Rachel gave Tyler a rose.

Elsewhere, Logan was seen telling host Jesse Palmer that he can’t stay for Rachel, and he needs to talk to Gabby.

During the cocktail party, Gabby talked with Nate. Gabby told Nate, “You always make feel so special. It’s nice,” and they kissed. Hayden and Rachel talked. He told her a sob story about how his dog Rambo has brain cancer, and he just found out about it 8 months ago.

Then, Tino came over and interrupted them. Rachel immediately got up to go talk with Tino after giving Hayden her sincere condolences about his dog. That made Hayden feel some type of bad way. So, he ended up telling James that Rachel was rude for just quickly getting up to go talk with Tino right after he told her his dog has cancer. That caused James to remember other rude things that Hayden has said about Gabby and Rachel in the past.

So, James decided to pull Rachel aside and tattle on Hayden. He told Rachel, “Hayden has said vulgar things about both you and Gabby. In one conversation, he said, ‘ I don’t trust these bitches.'” That made Rachel’s jaw drop.

So, Rachel immediately went to confront Hayden about the negative comments he’s made about her and Gabby. Hayden totally denied saying any of those things. Rachel didn’t believe him and decided to just send him home. Afterwards, Hayden told the private cams, “I really wanted Rachel and I to work out, but I want Rambo (his dog) more. Rambo loves me unconditionally. I’m ready to see Rambo.”

From there, Rachel canceled the rest of the cocktail party. At the rose ceremony, Gabby gave: Nate, Erich, Johnny, Michael and Mario a rose.

Rachel gave: Aven, James, Zach, Ethan and Logan a rose. Afterwords, Logan told the private cams, “I feel like the bad guy for accepting Rachel’s rose, but I did it because I still want to talk to Gabby.”

Additionally, all of this means that poor Jordan, Quincey and Kirk got eliminated at the rose ceremony to join Hayden who was given the boot earlier to reunite with his beloved dog Rambo.

Alright, guys. We’re in for one hell of a mess in the next episode with the whole Logan doesn’t really want Rachel drama. So, we’ll definitely see you next week to report the outcome.
