New Amsterdam Season 5 Spoilers For October 4, 2022 Episode 3 Revealed
Hey, “New Amsterdam” fans. We hope you guys totally enjoyed what tonight’s episode 2 had to show you. Now that episode 2 is officially in the history books, we are back on here to let you know what will be going down in the next, new episode 3 of New Amsterdam’s current season 5 when it arrives next Tuesday night, October 4, 2022.
As always, we were able to get a couple of new, official teaser descriptions for this new episode 3 from the good ole NBC people by way of their official episode 3 press release. So, we’re going to take a look at those for this spoiler session. Let’s get into it.
For starters, CBS revealed that this new episode 3 of New Amsterdam’s current season 5 is officially named/titled, “BIG DAY.” It sounds like episode 3 will deliver some very intense, dramatic, action-filled, suspenseful and interesting scenes as an explosion takes place! A rare blood type is needed. Strange injuries occur. A catatonic patient is on the scene and more.
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the explosion situation. Yep, it turns out that things are going to get very crazy and wild in this episode because a friggin explosion is going to go off while a wedding ceremony is in the midst of taking place. It will injure a ton of people who will eventually show up to the New Amsterdam hospital for treatment.
NBC’s official description for this crazy explosion situation tells us, “An explosion at a wedding ceremony sends a stream of injured partygoers into New Amsterdam.”
The second spoiler scoop reveals that the actual groom of the wedding will need a rare blood type to save his life. So, we’re going to see Dr. Wilder and Max race against time to try and find it!

The 3rd teaser spoiler lets us know that a couple will be on the scene at the hospital. This particular couple will show up with some injuries that seem quite bizarre. In response, Floyd Reynolds and Laura Bloom will race into action to treat them.
NBC’s description for this bizarre injuries storyline reads like this,”Reynolds and Bloom treat a couple with bizarre injuries.”
The 4th and last teaser scoop for this new episode 3 lets us know that some poor girl will be in a catatonic state at the hospital. We’re going to see Iggy try to help this girl. When he does, he will end up finding out what really took place at the tragic wedding event.
NBC’s description for this Iggy and catatonic girl plotline reads like this, “While helping a young girl out of a catatonic state, Iggy learns the truth about the wedding.”
NBC’s press release confirmed that the next, new episode 3 of New Amsterdam’s current season 5 is indeed scheduled to hit your TV screens next Tuesday night, October 4, 2022 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
