The Amazing Race November 16, 2022 Eliminated No One (Recap)
Hey,”The Amazing Race” fans. Tonight, November 16, 2022, another new episode of The Amazing Race’s current season 34 did indeed hit the air. This episode featured a Mega Leg, which has two Roadblocks and two Detours.
Tonight’s episode kicked off wit the teams learning they had to travel from the south of France to the south of Spain — Malaga to get this mega leg started. Once they got there, they had to go to the Plaza de la Merced. When they got there, they ran into their first Roadblock challenge.
In this challenge, one member from each team had to correctly piece together a prize Picasso painting to get their next clue.
After the teams successfully completed the Roadblock challenge, they had to travel by bicycle to El Cubo to get their next clue. When they got it, they were hit with the first set of detours for this Mega Leg. They got to choose either the “Fish Fry” or the “Sailboat Supply” detour.
In the “Fish Fry” detour, the teams had to skewer and roast 18 fish to perfection over an open flame in a boat to get their next clue.
In the “Sailboat Supply” detour, the teams had to deliver a large cooler filled with ice and a life vest to a yacht anchored offshore to get their next clue.
Derek & Claire ended up helping out Aubrey & David in the “Fish Fry” detour by telling them, they had to salt and season the fish first before they roasted them. Claire & Derek told the private cams, they helped Aubrey & David in case they might need help from them in the future. However, when it no longer becomes beneficial for them to help out other teams, they’re leaving them in the dust.
Derek and Claire completed this leg in first place, and they got started on the second leg of this Mega Leg race. Aubrey & David were able to finish this leg in second place. Meanwhile, the others were still working on completing their detours.
At this point, we got the “To Be Continued” message. So, no one was eliminated in tonight’s episode. We’re going to see that happen in next week’s episode when they finish up this Mega Leg.
The next, new Amazing Race season 34 episode is scheduled to air next Wednesday night, November 23, 2022 at approximately 8 pm central standard time on CBS.
