SWAT Season 6 December 16, 2022 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing For A While
Hey, “S.W.A.T” fans. Unfortunately, we’ve got some really rotten news to report to you guys in this article. It turns out that your favorite show SWAT is currently being delayed for about 3 weeks. That means CBS is not going to air the next, new episode 9 of SWAT’s current season 6 tonight, December 16, 2022. They’re also not going to air it for the rest of this month.
According to a recent press release we got from CBS, they don’t plan to air the new episode 9 until Friday night, January 6, 2023. During that time, it will air in its usual, 7 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to not forget that very important date and time.
We were able to find out what CBS will be airing in SWAT’s empty, 7 pm central time slot during this 3-week delay. According to the TV guide listings, CBS has a Christmas special lined up to air tonight. It’s called,”Reindeer in Here.”
CBS’ official description for this “Reindeer In Here” Christmas special reads like this, “Blizzard, a young reindeer living at the North Pole, and his unique group of friends band together to save the future of Christmas, creating a magical holiday tradition in the process.”
Next Friday night, December 23, 2022, CBS is going to air a new holiday special titled, “The 24th Annual a Home for the Holidays at the Grove.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “Inspirational stories of lives changed through adoption; scheduled performers include Andy Grammer, Little Big Town, and David Foster and Kat McPhee; Gloria Estefan hosts.”
On Friday night, December 30, 2022, CBS will be airing a repeat episode of SWAT. It will be the 16th episode of last season 5 titled,”The Fugitive.” CBS’ official description for it reads like this, “When body cam footage left at a local news station seems to show Hondo shooting two police officers, he is forced to go on the run while the team works to clear his name.”
If any of you guys are enticed at all by that alternate line of programming, you might still want to hit up CBS during this 3-week delay period. If this alternate programming doesn’t really jive with you, and you only want new episodes of SWAT, you will certainly want to get some other plans lined up at your earliest convenience.
Spoiler Warning: For those of you who like reading spoilers, we did track down a few for the next, new episode 9 of SWAT’s current season 6 via CBS’ official episode 9 press release.
It revealed that this new episode 9 is officially named/titled, “Pariah.” CBS’ official description for episode 9 reads like this, “When faced with a series of random shootings, one SWAT member’s family connections could be the key to stopping the next attack. Also, Hondo prepares to meet Rochelle’s parents for the first time, and Tan helps Luca navigate a sensitive situation, on S.W.A.T.”
An alternate description reads like this, “A SWAT MEMBER’S FAMILY CONNECTION COULD BE THE KEY TO ENDING A SERIES OF RANDOM SHOOTINGS.”
Again, CBS confirmed that the next, new episode 9 of SWAT’s current season 6 is scheduled to finally make its way to the air on Friday night, January 6, 2023 at approximately 7 pm central standard time. It will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
