New 60 Minutes January 8, 2023 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey, “60 Minutes” fans. Tonight, January 8,2023, your favorite news show 60 Minutes will be back on the air with another brand new episode 17 for its current 55th season. So, we’re on here to dish up a little preview of what you guys can expect to see from it.
The folks over at CBS did serve up an official press release for it. According to the press release, we’re going to see host Anderson Cooper conduct a very indepth interview with the member of England’s royal family Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO.
Judging from what this press release says, it sounds like Prince Harry is going to dish out some very interesting info about the British press. He’s going to talk about how naive he was about them in regards to how they would treat his relationship with his wife Meghan Markle. At one point during this interview, Harry points out that his relationship with Meghan has given him a new awareness of what the British press is really like.
Harry stated, “What Meghan had to go through was similar in some part to what Princess Kate and what Queen Consort Camilla went through – very different circumstances, but then you add in the race element, which was what the British press jumped on straight away. I went into this incredibly naïve. I had no idea the British press were so bigoted. Hell, I was probably bigoted before the relationship with Meghan. I didn’t see what I now see.”
The press release also mentioned that this interview is about his new memoir titled,”Spare,” which is going to be released very soon. During this interview Harry is also going to talk about why his separation from the royal family has been given a lot of publicity.
Harry stated, “Every single time I’ve tried to do it privately there have been briefings and leakings and planting of stories against me and my wife. You know, the family motto is never complain, never explain, but it’s just a motto.”
Along with Prince Harry’s very long interview, 60 Minutes will also squeeze in some time to take a look at music composer Hans Zimmer.
CBS’ press release confirmed that the next, new episode 17 of 60 Minutes current season 55 is indeed scheduled to hit the air tonight, January 8, 2023 at approximately 6:30 pm central standard time.
