60 Minutes January 29, 2023 Episode Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “60 Minutes” fans. Unfortunately, we have some super bad news for you guys tonight. It turns out that CBS is not going to air a new episode of 60 Minutes tonight, January 29, 2023. Yep, it’s true, guys. 60 Minutes will be MIA (Missing In Action) from CBS’ primetime line up tonight.
On a more positive note, we can tell you that you can expect to see another new episode get shown on CBS next Sunday night, February 5, 2023 in its usual, 6 pm central standard time slot. So, certainly be sure to remember that very important date and time.
We did find out the reason why CBS isn’t airing a new episode of 60 Minutes tonight. According to the TV guide listings, CBS has chosen to ditch 60 Minutes tonight to provide LIVE coverage of the NFL AFC Championship game, featuring the Cincinnati Bengals versus the Kansas City Chiefs.
CBS’ official description for their LIVE coverage of the NFL AFC Championship game featuring the Cincinnati Bengals versus the Kansas City Chiefs reads like this, “NFL Football. Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs LIVE. The Bengals and Chiefs meet in the AFC championship game. Cincinnati edged past Kansas City 27-24 in last year’s AFC final. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will start after suffering a high-ankle sprain in a divisional-round win over Jacksonville.”
If any of you guys happen to be NFL football fans, you might still want to tune into CBS ,tonight, to catch this LIVE NFL football, championship game. If you are not an NFL football fan and only want to see brand new episodes of 60 Minutes, you will certainly want to get some other plans lined up for tonight as soon as possible.
60 Minutes current season 55 is averaging 9.004 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 1.03 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. One of the more recent episodes, which aired on Sunday night, January night, January 15, 2023, managed to draw in 6.330 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.48 ratings score.
Again, CBS confirmed that they do plan to air another new episode of 60 Minutes next Sunday night, February 5, 2023 at approximately 6 pm central standard time.
