New 20/20 February 3, 2023 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey,”20/20″ fans. We are back on here ,tonight, to tell you that ABC is going to serve up another new episode of their hit news show 20/20 tonight, February 3, 2023, and to deliver up a brief preview of what you can expect to see from it. For those of you who care, tonight’s new episode is the 18th episode of 20/20’s current season 45.
We were able to get a hold of an official ABC press release for tonight’s new February 3, 2023 episode. So, we’re going to tell you what it has to say. Let’s get into it. In tonight’s new episode, the 20/20 team is going to take a deep look at a murder case that involves a woman named Nikki Addimando. She is a mother of two that admitted to shooting and killing her partner Chris Grover.
Nikki claims she did it in self defense because Grover had physically and sexually abused her for years, and it got to the point where killing him was her only way of escape. This episode will feature Nikki’s first interview about this murder. In it, she talked about all the abuse she claims she endured from Grover leading up to the murder. There will also be other interviews with Nikki’s sister, therapist, Attorney and more.
ABC’s official description for tonight’s new February 3, 2023 episode of Dateline NBC reads like this, “Mother of two Nikki Addimando admitted to police that she shot and killed her partner, beloved gymnastics coach Chris Grover, in their home. But did she pull the trigger in self-defense after enduring years of physical and sexual abuse at the hands of Grover, or did she stage the crime scene and murder her partner in cold blood?
“20/20” reports on the death that divided the town of Poughkeepsie, New York, and the complexities that domestic violence survivors face when going through the criminal justice system. The two-hour program features Addimando’s first television interview with “Nightline” co-anchor Juju Chang, where Addimando opens up about the abuse she says she endured and why she felt shooting Grover was the only way out.
This episode includes additional exclusive interviews with Michelle Horton, Addimando’s sister Sarah Caprioli, Addimando’s therapist Garrard Beeney, Addimando’s appellate attorney Bella Leone, an ex-girlfriend of Grover; and Justine van der Leun, journalist and host of the “Believe Her” podcast.”
Again, ABC confirmed that tonight’s February 3, 2023, 20/20 episode is indeed brand new. It’s scheduled to air at approximately 8 pm central standard time. It will also be available the next day on Hulu.
