La Brea Season 2 February 28, 2023 Episodes 13 & 14 Are The Finale. Season 3 Is Happening

Hey, “La Brea” fans. We hope you guys totally enjoyed episodes 13 and 14 tonight, especially since they are officially the very last episodes of this current season 2 of La Brea. That’s right, guys. Tonight’s episode 14 was the official season 2 finale episode. That means you guys won’t be getting any more new episodes of La Brea for quite a while.

However, that is actually good news, and we’re going to tell you why. The reason why is because quite a while doesn’t mean forever. You will eventually get to see some more new episodes at some point in the future because the NBC people decided to renew La Brea for a brand new season 3! That’s right, guys. Your favorite show will be returning with another slate of brand new episodes at some point in the future.

According to the folks over at TV Line.com, NBC actually decided to give La Brea a little bit of an early renewal back on January 31, 2023. However, they’re saying that this early renewal is only for 6 new episodes so far. That could change in the future, but right now, that’s all it is, and that is a far cry from the 14 episodes that season 2 just served up. Again, it’s likely this could change by the time season 3 is set to premiere. We’ll have to wait and see

Now, we’re going to give you guys a little bit of insight into why NBC renewed La Brea for a new season 3, and why they only ordered a small order size of just 6 episodes. La Brea season 2 averaged 2.927 million LIVE viewers per episode, and a 0.32 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics.

The most recent episode 12, which aired last Tuesday night, February 21, 2023, managed to draw in 1.718 million LIVE viewers, and a 0.18 ratings score.

The most-viewed episode was the premiere episode 1 with 4.023 million LIVE viewers. The least-viewed episode was episode 12 with the 1.718 million LIVE viewers.

The highest-rated episode was the premiere episode 1 with a 0.49 ratings score. The lowest-rated episode was episode 12 with a 0.18 ratings score. When the streaming numbers are added in, the average viewership jumps to 5.4 million viewers, and 0.60 ratings score.

Yeah, the numbers seemed to really dip after the first half of season 2, and they were never extremely high to begin with. So, we can see why NBC was probably like, “Let’s give it 6 more episodes for season 3 to start with and see what those do.” Oh well. 6 episodes is better than zero. So, you’ll at least get something at the very least.

Alright, guys. That is going to be a wrap for this latest, “La Brea” TV show report, but definitely stay tuned for more.
