Hey, “Quantum Leap” fans. We’re back with some great news for you guys ,today, because the folks over at NBC have another new episode of Quantum Leap to serve up tonight, March 27, 2023. That’s right, guys. They will be airing the next, new episode 17 of Quantum Leap’s current, premiere season 1, and we’ve got some spoiler info for it.
We were able to track down a new, official teaser description for one of episode 17’s main storylines via NBC’s official episode 17 press release synopsis. So, we’re going to dive straight into it right now. Let’s go.
First thing’s first. This new episode 17 of Quantum Leap’s current season 1 does have an official title to go along with it. The writers decided to call it, “THE FRIENDLY SKIES.” It sounds like episode 17 will feature some very intense, dramatic, scandalous, interesting, action-filled and suspenseful scenes.
In the new episode 17, a hijacked plane leap will be the main focus of this storyline that NBC chose to reveal. Yep, things are going to get super scandalous and intense in this episode because a 1970’s passenger jet is going to get hijacked at some point, and Ben is going to leap into a flight attendant who was on that passenger jet. Ben’s mission will be to somehow outwit the hijackers before the plane mysteriously crashes into the Atlantic ocean, and he’ll have to figure out a way to do it without Ziggy’s assistance!
NBC’s official description for episode 17 reads like this, “When Ben leaps aboard a 1970’s passenger jet as a flight attendant, he must outwit its hijackers before it mysteriously crashes into the Atlantic. Worse? He has to do it all without Ziggy’s help.”
NBC’s press release confirmed that the next, new episode 17 of Quantum Leap’s current, premiere season 1` is indeed scheduled to show up tonight, March 27, 2023 at approximately 9 pm central standard time.
