New American Idol April 30 & May 1, 2023 Episodes Preview Revealed
Hey, “American Idol” fans. We are back to let you know that another two episodes of American Idol are coming your way tonight, April 30, 2023 and tomorrow night, May 1, 2023. That’s right, guys. Tonight’s new episode will be the 15th one for American Idol’s current season 21, and tomorrow’s night’s new episode will be the 16th one.
We’ve got some new preview information for both of these episodes straight from ABC by way of their official episodes 15 and 16 press releases. So, we’re going to certainly dig into those for this preview session. Let’s get into it.
This description is for tonight’s new, April 30, 2023 edition. The folks over at ABC are telling us that the top 12 contestants are going to perform in tonight’s new episode. After that, America’s vote for the top 10 contestants will be revealed, which means two contestants will get eliminated tonight.
Also, the theme for tonight’s new episode will be,”Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Night.” So, we’re pretty sure the contestants will be forced to sing nothing but rock and roll songs. If you’re a rock and roll fan, this will definitely be the episode for you.
ABC’s official description for tonight’s new, April 30, 2023 episode 15 of American Idol reads like this, “American Idol (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Night). The top 12 contestants perform. America’s vote for the top 10 is revealed.”
The description for tomorrow night’s new, May 1, 2023 episode reveals that the theme for the performances will be the “Judge’s Song Contest.” The remaining contestants will sing only songs that the judges recommend for them to sing. After that’s all wrapped up, America will cast their votes for who they think should make it into the final 7! That unfortunately means that 3 singers will be going home in next week’s results show.
ABC’s official description for tomorrow night’s new, May 1, 2023 episode 16 of American Idol reads like this, “American Idol (Judge’s Song Contest). The judge’s song contest returns as the judges each suggest songs for the contestants to choose from. America votes for the top seven.”
Some additional information from the folks over at MJSbigblog.com, reveals that season 8 runner up Adam Lambert is going to return to do some mentoring work for the contestants.
ABC’s press release confirmed that American Idol will be brand new tonight and tomorrow night, April 30 and May 1, 2023. Both of these episodes are scheduled to hit the air at approximately 7 pm central standard time, and they will be 2 hours long.
