On TV Tonight May 31, 2023 Schedule Preview Revealed

Hey, TV fans. We are back in action with another new TV schedule for you tonight, May 31, 2023. We’ve got information for just the top networks: FOX, CBS, NBC and ABC and their primetime schedules. So, let’s get to it.

ABC is airing a show titled, “The 1619 Project.” It’s episode 1 of season 1 titled,”Democracy; Justice.” ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “Black America’s centuries-long fight to democratize America and its founding ideals.” It’s airing from 7pm to 10pm central standard time.

CBS is airing a repeat episode of FBI: Most Wanted. It’s episode 1 of season 4 titled, “Iron Pipeline.” CBS’ description for it: “A family of four from New York is found dead in a Georgia motel room; Barnes struggles with Remy’s leadership style upon her return from maternity leave; Remy and his sister plan for their mother’s care.” It’s airing from 7pm to 8pm central standard time.

Homeward Bound: A Grammy Salute to the Songs of Paul Simon. CBS’ description for it: “Honoring Paul Simon with performances from Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Eric Church, Rhiannon Giddens, Susanna Hoffs, Jonas Brothers, Angélique Kidjo, Ledisi, Little Big Town, Dave Matthews, Brad Paisley, Billy Porter and more.” It’s airing from 8pm to 10pm central standard time.

NBC is airing repeat episodes of Night Court, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D.

The Night Court repeat is episode 1 of season 1 titled, “Pilot.” NBC’s official description for it: “Judge Abby Stone follows in the footsteps of her late father Harry Stone as she takes over the night shift of a Manhattan arraignment court; when a public defender is needed, Abby sees potential in former prosecutor Dan Fielding.” It’s airing from 7pm to 7:30 pm central standard time.

The Night Court repeat is episode 2 of season 1 titled, “The Nighthawks.” NBC’s description for it: “Abby pushes Dan Fielding to embrace his new role as public defender; Neil gets on board with Abby’s quest to improve the courtroom and quickly realizes why trying is for the birds.” It’s airing from 7:30 pm to 8 pm central standard time.

The Chicago Fire repeat is episode 10 of season 11 titled, “Something for the Pain.” NBC’s description for it: “Detective Pryma’s case comes to an explosive end with Kidd and Carver’s lives in danger; Brett installs an infant safe surrender box at 51; Violet is determined to take Emma down.” It’s airing from 8pm to 9pm central standard time.

The Chicago P.D. repeat is episode 11 of season 10 titled, “Long Lost.” NBC’s description for it: “A shocking ambush at a funeral leads the team into a heated investigation to find the shooters; much to Atwater’s surprise, he must rely on someone from his past to help in the investigation, dredging up old memories and revealing new truths.” It’s airing from 9 pm to 10 pm central standard time.

FOX is airing a new MasterChef episode. It’s episode 2 of season 13 titled, “Regional Auditions — The Midwest.” FOX’s official description for it: “The auditions continue as chefs from the Midwest battle it out for a coveted spot in the top 20; each contestant has 45 minutes to prepare a signature dish that impresses the judges to continue on in the competition.” It’s airing from 7pm to 8pm central standard time.

Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars new episode. It’s episode 2 of season 1 titled, “Host With the Most.” FOX’s official description for it: “Teams must deliver food, drinks and an impactful presentation to guests at a charity gala for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.” It’s airing from 8pm to 9pm central standard time.
