New 48 Hours June 3, 2023 Episode Preview Revealed
Hey,”48 Hours” fans. We’re on here to let you know that CBS will indeed serve up another new episode of 48 Hours tonight, June 3, 2023. That’s right, guys. According to the TV guide listings, this next, new episode will be the 29th one for 48 Hours’ current season 35, and we’ve got some new, detailed preview info for it to run by you guys.
CBS served up a new, official press release for this new, June 3, 2023 episode. So, we’re going to certainly take a look at it to deliver up this preview session. Let’s go.
First thing’s first. This new, June 3, 2023 episode of 48 Hours does have an official title. It’s called, “The Case of the Poison Cheesecake.”
In this new episode, the 48 Hours team is going to take a deep look at a story about a beauty stylist in Queens, New York named Olga Tsvyk. Back in 2016, she was nearly murdered by her client named Viktoria Nasyrova via a poisonous piece of cheesecake. At first, the investigators couldn’t make sense why Viktoria would poison Olga until they realized that these two ladies shared a very striking, physical resemblance to one another.
Apparently, Viktoria tried to murder Olga and steal her identity. The investigator also found out that Viktoria is also wanted for a different murder attempt in Russia, which was apparently successful. The detective Kevin Rodgers told 48 Hours, “Hands down this is one of the craziest cases that I’ve ever had to deal with.”
Olga said she fainted and nearly died after eating the poisonous piece of cake. Kevin Rodgers could find Viktoria for months. However, he later discovered that a private investigator named Herman Weisberg was also on the hunt for Viktoria after she killed somebody else! A photo on Facebook showing the reflection in Viktoria’s sunglasses gave Weisberg critical clues about her whereabouts.
Herman Weisberg told 48 Hours, “Viktoria is not a shooter. She’s not a stabber, but I haven’t seen someone this ruthless in a long time.” Viktoria told 48 Hours, “I’m not a killer. I’m a woman, only woman.”
CBS’ official description for this new, June 3, 2023 episode of 48 Hours reads like this, “A beauty stylist in Queens, N.Y., is almost murdered in 2016 by a mysterious client who comes to her home and poisons her with a piece of cheesecake.
The details of the crime – and the motive – don’t make sense to investigators until they realize that the stylist (Olga Tsvyk) and the client (Viktoria Nasyrova) bear an uncanny physical resemblance. Peter Van Sant and 48 HOURS report on what happened between them and Nasyrova’s dark past in “The Case of the Poison Cheesecake.”
An alternate description tell us, “What happened between stylist Olga Tsvyk and client Viktoria Nasyrova that led Nasyrova to attempt to murder Tsvyk and steal her identity in 2016.”
CBS’ press release confirmed that 48 Hours will be brand new again tonight, June 3, 2023, and it’s scheduled to show up on your TV sets, starting at approximately 9 pm central standard time. It will also be available to stream on Paramount+.
